Akhil Mishra upset with Uttaran makers? Akhil Mishra, who plays Umeed Singh, Veer's (Nandish Sandhu) father in Uttaran is threatening to quit the show owing to mismanagement on the sets. Akhil has already informed the production house about his decision. Akhil says, "There is a series of issues which I have been facing everyday on the sets. They do not give us a proper schedule, when I get ready for a scene; they make me wait for hours. I stand like a fool on the sets just because my co-actors are happily chatting over the phone. It's not their mistake as the production house is disorganised. There are times when I reach the set and get to know the shooting has been cancelled for the day that too from someone else and not from the production people. Sometimes they shoot half a scene and then inform me the next day that it has been scrapped and I need to reshoot it." Akhil mentions that because of Uttaran he had to let go two shows and two films. He claims he has been getting many good offers, therefore he is ready to quit any moment. |
