the writer strongly says that "fiction is heavily borrowed from real life..."....so lets wait and watch for the story to unfold.
right now, the only dis-similarity is that the brothers have a sister- which wasnt there in the Gandhi clan!😉

very true....incidentally the gandhi clan has had more than its share of rumours and scandals. if the versions are to be believed we have a real life ekta style family.an another difference (apart from the sister thing) is the role of tisca chopra which is very similar to sonia gandhi but sonia's loyalty to the country has been in question many times as has been her stand on politics.in the show the elder daughter-in-law comes out as very strong and loyal person who seems to be in favour of kunal joining the politics.
