Hi All, I am a newbie on this forum. Bit of background on why I decided to join this one. I use to be huge fan KDMHMD on star but then I got bored as the story went from unbelivable to strange to totally annoying. Anywho then my sister started watching Pratigya and badgered me until I decided to watch one episode with her. At first I just laughed at Krishna's weird hairstyle and those tight pants that seemed so out of date. Anyway as time went by ( and I mean just couple or more days here) I started enjoying the show purely because it gave sis and I to spend more time together and also it is an interesting topic however jaded one. There are few things that I thought were just mmmm strange:

I didnt get why Pratigya tolerates her weird in laws and equally gross brother in law who does nothing but perves on everyone under the age of 30.

Why is pratigya not getting the point that sometimes some people just dont need help?

Her sister married that creepy brother in law of hers and I say two peas in a pod, arushi made her bed now lie in it. No point in crying hun when you so so desperately wanted to get married it didnt matter who...

In all fairness and I know no one will agree I kind of like shakti even though he is weird and creepy. Coz he is the only one who is consistent in this whole saga, and I expect no surprises from him.He lives up to his reputation.

Welcome to the forum Eve 😊 When I started watching the show, when Kriya were getting married, even I didn't immediatly like Krishna... and I used to hate Komal and esp Sajjan Singh 😆 I used to think what kind of horrible ppl are these and why are they torturing the Saxenas?
But over time (and even I mean 2-3 days), I fell in love with everyone.

Nice to meet someone who just hate Shakti entirely 😆 Even I like Shakti for his consistent personality. He's naturally an evil guy and he always acts true tohis nature. And in the current wedding fiasco, I don't blame him much... 95% of the blame goes to Arushi.

Can't answer your questions though, only the CVs can answer those 😆

I actually liked Komal she is so true and speaks her mind and the poor girl is married off in a very weird family...now out of that house i love komal...

Yeah shakti is evil, but i was upset at his wife for tolerating it, seriously if any guy did that nowadays even in india women speaks up they dont take all this pativata thingy anymore but atleast he is consistenly evil and doesnt change tunes. That Arushi i dont believe she did it but she has to she just has to live with it.

CVs is the short trm we use here for the Creatives. Those people who come up with the story.

Arushi does want to live with the decision she made... its Pratigya who wont let her. You see, Pratigya won't let things be. She always has to interfere, that is part of her nature 😆

@ elle45 Got it :) well to be honest I love the story and i think it is because unlike Prem and Heer(KDMHMD) i havent formed any attachment with the characters of this show. I absoutely adored prem and heer and couldnt see anything else but here I watch it and then move on.
I just find it funny that krishna has to be uncomfortable in those pants and what about that dutch boy hairstyle?

Krishna is a hick from a small town he's not supposed to be a model for GQ. He is not exactly the picture of sophistication. The character is just supposed to be street smart.

Yeah I agree, GQ model he is not. I just like the show coz it makes me laugh and it is not the same saas bahu drama.

I agree with you on your points, except that about finding Krishna weird....I thought he did not look like the hard man he was supposed to be....just an anxious and misguided lover...😊😆

You are right about Shakti, he has remained consisted and I hope he continues to do so...though worried, it seems he too is running after his wife now, even packing for her on friday's episode..😉

As for expecting Pratigya to learn that not everyone needs her help, please don't hold your breath...it is not happening anytime soon. I've wasted months hoping for that.😃😃😆

It always feels better to see a character true to his/her nature than who changes color based on the situation.

Persons who stand true to the nature are - Komal, SS, Amma and shakti, Komal being my favorite. Some of her dialogues are too good, clear, crisp and straight to the point. She calls a spade a spade.

I was in so much love with Krishna's character but had to change my opinion in between. I still love him, but there are moments when I did not feel like watching him. I liked him for being a wife lover but could not see him as a wife worshipper(Do I sound like Amma?), at the cost of his self respect.

Kesar too is true to her nature but I cannot appreciate her. Every living thing on this earth knows how to fight for self defense but she lacks that substance.
