The holiday spirit is sweeping through India-Forums.
There is joy and laughter everywhere.
So I figured why not bring a little bit of holiday cheer to Debate Mansion too
And host the first annual DM Secret Santa
(IF is hosting a global one, but I thought why not a smaller cozy one on DM)
Its time to stop being grumpy grinches
And bring out the Santa spirit in all of us
Young, old, tall, short it don't matter
Everyone can be a Santa
The whole DM family can be a Santa

How it works
1) All interested in participating PM me. Deadline to PM your participation is by
Monday December 13th 6:01 PM US CST or
Tuesday December 14th 00:01 AM UK Time or
Tuesday December 14th 05:31 AM Indian Standard Time or
Tuesday December 14th 11:01 AM Australia Capital Time
2) Once I have all participants I will randomly assign each of you one person by December 15th.
3) You will be the Secret Santa to the person you are assigned to, and will be making an anonymous online gift to them.
4) You will PM me your secret online gifts by Monday December 20th 6:01 PM US CST (figure the remaining time zones yourself)
5) I will try to keep posting the gifts as I receive them. Here's where the fun begins. You all will see who the gifts are dedicated to and what everyone is getting, but you will not know which DM Santa the gift is from. Have fun guessing who each gift is from.
6) I will reveal all Secret Santa's around Christmas time.
What to gift
First and foremost say something nice and sweet about the person you are dedicating the gift too. Its the holidays and embrace the holiday spirit and say something to make it special. Its an online gift and the possibilities of gifts are endless. You can write a poem, or song, or short story for the person. You can make a signature or an avatar. You can make a video, record a song. Try to think of what their likes and dislikes are and incorporate that into the gift. And if you are not the creative genius, no worries - there is always room for creative online shopping. Scour the web and make a gift bag of goodies and gifts you think make the best gifts and tell us why. You don't have to really spend a penny the gift bag so the possibilities are endless. Heck you can even gift a car - but its the thought that counts so tell us how and why you put together your gift bag.

Please note IF COC is always in effect. Please avoid gifts that are offensive and in violation of COC. And its holiday fun, the most fun thrill of Secret Santa is in guessing who the gift could be from. So please don't spill the beans early or reveal yourself. Lets have some fun guessing. Of course some gifts might be obvious, or a vocal gift might be easy to catch, but some Secret Santa's can also be fun and mysterious. I'm hoping to see some mysterious fun unfold. 😉
