Why one storyline?

Hey all!

Im actually a silent reader on this forum (for the past 2-3mnths), im Henna and ive updated Kasamh se a few years back. I havent watched any indian dramas for agesssss (and i mean ageesss) but i got reeled in when i sat down with my family and Kokila came on screen (I like her) usually just watch once a week/fortnight but thats enough for me lol!

Anyway back to the topic, one thing i never ever understand about indian dramas, why do they always concentrate on one track, that too the most boring track 😆

For example, Kinjals wedding, it could be made exciting my havin other side tracks with other characters, i would find it cool to see a fun side to Mani perhaps even a good love track. Yes, im suggesting Mani, lets face it Gopi and Ahem are not getting anywhere lol.

Id rather know about the characters in the show already rather then adding random ppl..

Are there any other storylines you can think of (minus Gopi and Ahem) that would be rather interesting to watch?

Welcome to the forum henna.
And u made a very good point to discuss. Kinjal and her 'Prem Kahani' is now like 'A Stretched Chewing Gum' that CVs want us to keep in our mouth 'just 4 the sake of having a taste of GoHam story' bt they are fooling us by showing kinjal only.
Next abt GoHam nt going anywhere, agree bt most of us watching this show just 'For GoHam' and CVs are taking advantage of this coz they know 'we cant stop watching SNS until we wil hav a proper GoHam track'

minus GoHam, mani and her story wil be a good idea. And i can say Parag proving his writing skills may be interesting one to watch n how koki wil see Parag after proving himself.

I think once the GoHam track starts many will get interested but then it'll tank if they have too many misunderstandings. This show should set an example of happy lead couple that solve things like normal people (eg communication lol) Id hate to see tem unite.. separate .. unite etc. What a boring show that'd turn into.

You made a great point on Parag, id love to see him prove himself to Kokila and the rest of the family, however i wouldnt like to see Kokila get big headed about it though.. could turn uuuuuugly lol

My pleasure to hav new new members at forum.
And abt 'happy lead couple' turning into 'see saw' 'kabhi paas kabhi dur' wil be boring no doubt and if that wil be due to 'misunderstandings' then i must say cvs should get their brain checked coz every single show on tv portrays lead couple as this only. Til nw SNS was diff. from other and i want it to be same in future too bt for this cvs 'must hv brain in place' otherwise they wil ruin this show just like their other 2 shows. 'beautiful shows turned into bhootiya shows'

parag, is an underdog in the show and his character can be shaped to make show more interesting. As he is the only one who likes 'reading,writing' so he can teach Gopi.

That's an excellent suggestion as his home, as her father in law, why not in the past he has provided a blanket for Gopi when she was locked in the Storeroom by Kokila, so maybe he will volunteer to teach her. Perhaps Aham wouldn't feel so ashamed of her as a wife if she could at least read and write.

I would much rather watch Mani's story than Kinjal, or Rashi or Urmi! Anything but those three!

I love the idea of Parag teaching Gopi to read! Why can't the CVs take this idea and run with it!

One of the main problems with SNS is that too many of the characters are one dimensional. The only characters the least bit fleshed out are the evil ones and WE DON"T CARE ABOUT THEM!

Argh.
