"Acclaimed playback singer Richa Sharma, recently in the news for the chartbuster hit 'Zor Ka Jhatka', appeared as a celebrity guest on her favourite show Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Singing Superstar this Saturday. "I have always loved this show and have wanted to be a part of it for a long time," she said as she was welcomed on stage and added, "Finally, the day has come and I am very excited to be a part of this episode. The talent here is simply tremendous!" With a spate of superhit songs under her belt, the contestants were awestruck to be in the presence of such a supremely talented singer.

With each of the contestants out to prove their mettle as they sang in duets with Richa, it was a battle to the finish line as they took on songs that proved their versatility on stage. Their virtuosic performances left their guest judge at a loss as she found it very difficult to decide on whose performance was better. Richa was overheard commenting on the difficulty that the judges & audience would face while voting for their favorites as every contestant proved his/her worth on stage.

The first contestant to form a partnership with the acclaimed singer was Abhilasha Chellum. They sang the scintillating number - Maavi Ve. Daler Mehandi was so very enthralled by Abhilasha's rendition that he came over to the stage to applaud her.
