story till now

can someone tell me what the story is about please?

um...sure

okay so here is my go at it: The story is about 4 women - Devyani, Uttara, Vidya, & Priya

1. Devyani - is the wife of an SSP, has 3 kids (Gaurav, Aditya, and Sweety). Is really close to her sasurji and doesn't like her husband much. She got her oldest son married to a poor girl named Vidya, without his consent. Now she spends her time looking for ways of bringing Gaurav and Vidya together. She knows that Gaurav didnt want to marry Vidya, but forced him too any way. After the wedding she took her whole family to some mata ka mandir, where the Jhakkars (Devyani's family) met the Pradhans (Priya's family)

2. Uttara - is Devyani's sister. She is married to a man named Rishab and has a daughter who is in boarding school. It has been shown that Uttara and Rishab love each other a lot, but that Rishab is also very violent. He hits and beats up Uttara for no real reason - except that he hates the SSP (Uttara's Jiju). So Uttara's story is that she lied to rishab and joined her sister (Devyani) and her family and went to the mandir - when rishab found out he brought her back home and beat the crap out of her. Though Devyani knew what had happened - she let Uttara continue to pretend as if nothing did. One night - after being beat up again (post Vidya-Gaurav's wedding party - which happened after returning from the mandir trip) Uttara brought out a knife to kill Rishab, but Rishab and uttara ended up patching up and from then onwards he hasn't hit her.

3. Vidya - is from a poor family and is married to Gaurav. She spends her time dreaming of marital bliss and is constantly advised by Imli (the house maid) on how to achieve it - completely unaware of Garuav's perspective on the wedding. Gaurav treats her nice though - and said that this relationship shud start with them being friends. Vidya agreed - but continues to try to appease him. Recently gaurav went missing and didnt tell anyone where he went, but being the dutiful wife - vidya began the facade that she knew where he was in front of Imli. However, upon his return she continues to wait for his attention and i guess love.

4. Now PRIYA (my fav of the 4 =D) - is the daughter of a professor (who cannot stand injustice in any way - and questions it when face by it) and has a younger brother Chinu. In the initial episodes it is explained that Priya is afraid of both trains and cops. It is because of this fear (and almost being run over by a train in accident) that she runs into Aditya (devyani's son). Adi falls in love with her instantly and they travel in the same train to the mandir (the same one everyone is going to post gaurav-vidya wedding). In the train adi continues to save her and her family - saved her brother from random fanatics on the train and her from falling off the train.

Okay so the main story of Aditya - Priya (AdiYa) - So Adiya is in love with Priya, but priya is dead set on committing suicide. When at the mandir - she sees her ex-fiance, and at the place she was staying at (when at the mandir trip) - She confronts him, who in turn assassinates his character. Adi is momentarily taken aback, but continues to proclaim his love for her. She then goes to commit suicide. But Adi saves her and gives her courage to continue living and says that he will marry her. He then takes her home (where she is staying at the mandir trip place) and tells her that he is gonna come back with his parent to ask her hand in marriage. Now we see priya smitten by Adi - who waits for him. But when adi goes home - he finds out that his masi uttara is missing - eventually uttara calls and tells her devyani & the rest of the jhakkars that she has been beat up by rishab. So the jhakkar family leaves the mandir place and heads back home. Adi remembers that he promised priya that he wud come, but the time he gets to priya's place she is already gone.

Once back home - Uttara pretends as if nothing happened, and Gaurav - Vidya wedding party takes place. POst the party Adi heads off to kasiabaad (where he finds out that Priya lives). In kasiabaad - priya and her family constantly face badnaami becasue of priyas past (which the audience doesnt know yet). So there are some awesome dream sequences of Adi missing/looking for priya. He eventually finds her - who tells him to go away, but she instead asks her hadn in marriage in front of her dad and bro. He tells her to meet him at a mandir the next morning is her answer is yes,

the next morning she goes to the mandir with the intention to tell him about her past - but he doesnt listen, he is just excited that she came - so he tells her he loves her and calls his family to come for final rishta pakka type of deal. The Jhakkars come to Kasiabaad....and meanwhile priya writes a letter to adi about her past.

Priys past/letter: she was gonna marry a guy, and the night after their engagement they get arrested for being out together. In order to save her fiance priya goes to plea to the ssp in a train. The ssp frees her fiance but molests her - doesnt manage to rape her - she makes it home tells her dad who goes to the police. The refuse to believe her and instead and spread badnaami on her (by arresting her) claiming she is a prostitute. Because of all this she doesnt end up getting married

Priya gives adi the letter who doesnt read it & rips it up, pretending as if he had - claiming that he doesnt care of her past. She accepts his proposal - and then discovers that adi's dad is a police officer. So she refuses him. Adi comes to priyas house with his mom to convince her - and she is more or less convinced.

Now adi is back home to study and take his exams while priya misses him.....

okay i dont know if i hit everything and if i went into tooo much detail (just realized how much i typed) - but hope this helped. =D
