Tapasya has always hated Ichcha and has made no bones about it. It is this hatred that has driven her to do so much damage. People do not have much expectation from her.

Whereas

Mai, for me, has put on different faces whenever it suited her. She sang Ichcha's praises during and after Vansh as long as Ichcha toed her line of thought.
But what I feel strongest about is that this is her only living son involved here. Having lost one son, any mother would jump through hoops to keep the remaining son with her and happy regardless of what 'reeti riwaz' she believes in.
She is doing everything to hurt her son despite her own husband's advice and the fact that finally he is happy.
Finally (even if I am to be charitable and say that any grandmother would want to acknowledge her grandchild) there is no requirement to bring Tapasya back to the Bundela household. She can stay at the Thakurs and have her child but to bring back the woman who has been responsible for so much heartache for the Bundela's is sheer madness. I don't blame Tapasya for trying -- it is what she is expected to do-------I blame Mai for the decision.

Who is worse??????-- For me Mai. Her character, at present, is a disgrace to mothers.
