Geet was tossing and turning not able to sleep...she couldn't stop thinking about how her life has been for the past 2 years....she thought she had no reason to live, smile, laugh, and love anymore....but that all changed when Maan Singh Khurana stepped into her life...

Geet: (thinking to herself) It's been 2 years since Ranbir has left me...I never thought that I would be able to be happy let alone feel love again...but ever since you came into my life everything has changes....you taught me how to live and laugh again....but most importantly you taught me how to LOVE again....you always put my happiness before yours....I don't know how I'm ever going to repay you for giving me back my life Maan....I don't feel guilty not thinking about Ranbir all the time now...yes I do think about him but its only happy memories...my life isn't consumed by his thoughts like they used to be....Ranbir was a important part of my life and I'm never going to forget him....but I'm not going to let his memories stop me from making new ones with you...I wish I knew what was in your heart...I wish I knew if you loved me as I love you....but as long as I have you in my life...I'm happy and couldn't ask for anything more...I love you Maan

A innocent smiled rose to her face as she turned to her side to face Maan....she slowly moved closer to him....lifted his arm and wrapped it around herself....she gently kissed his check and buried her head in his chest....she was right where she belonged...wrapped securely in his strong arms

Breakfast Table

Geet was in the dining room helping Dadi set up for breakfast....Geet specially made aloo parathas...she remembered Dadi telling her they where Maan's favourite dish to eat for breakfast....

Dadi: Geet hum soche rahe thai ki aap hamare saath hamari dosto se milo

Geet: Dadi...woh (she said hesitantly) I was thinking of joining the office back up today

Dadi: really?! Actually that is a good idea....the more time you and Maan spend together the closer you will become.....I mean the better you will understand one another

She said smiling to Geet placing her hand on Geet's head

Geet: thanks Dadi

She said as she gave her a hug.....Maan was walking towards them with a smile on his face.....he loved that Dadi loved Geet so much...as he approached the table he saw aloo parathas waiting for him

Maan: Dadi yeh sab? Wow today seems to be starting off really well

He said slyly smiling remembering waking up this morning with Geet wrapped around his arms

Maan: but sucks that I can't eat any of this or else I'll end up getting late for the office....Geet chale?

Geet was disappointed that he wasn't going to eat the food she made for him.....this was the first time she had cooked for him and she wasn't going to let him get away that easily....she walked to where he was standing...she took his hand into hers and walked him to his seat at the table and forced him to sit down

Maan: Geet..yeh saab...

Geet: chup

She said cutting him off and getting his plate ready for him

Geet: ek din office time par nahi gayi it's not going to shut down Maan...breakfast is the most important meal of the day....so chup chap khana khao

Maan sat there shocked at Geet...no one has ever forced him to do something that he didn't want to....but he didn't mind if it was Geet doing it.....Dadi stood there watching them fight and smiled

Dadi: Maan she's right....anyways I have to go out now....I will see you all later bye

She said as she walked over and gave Maan and Geet a hug and kiss goodbye

Nakul came out with the dahi and placed it on the table as Maan took his first bite

Maan: Vah Nakul....today there is something different about your cooking it taste amazing

Nakul stood there shocked as Maan never complimented his cooking before....he looked at Geet and smiled....Geet was blushing by Maan's compliment

Nakhul: sir than you should kiss the chef's hands who made this food for you

Maan stopped chewing and gave Nakul a weird look

Maan: umm Nakul I'm not going to kiss another man's hand

He said as Geet silently giggled

Nakul: Maan sir I'm not talking about me I didn't cook this

Maan: really (he said shocked) than who did

Nakul: Geet ma'am did

he said looking over and smiling at her as he left the dining room.....Maan slowly got up and walked over to Geet who was standing there with her head down....he placed his hand under her chin and lifted her face up

Maan: Geet (he said softly) tumhare hathon mein jaadu hai

Geet couldn't control her blushing anymore and quickly ran away from there...leaving Maan standing there smiling to himself

Khurana Constructions

Geet's Office

"tumhare hathon mein jaadu hai".....Maan's words kept echoing through Geet's head...she was on cloud nine...the first time she ever made something for Maan he liked it so much...as Geet was thinking of Maan and coyly stealing glances of him through the glass wall her phone rang

Geet: hello

Receptionist: hi Geet can you tell Maan sir that his friend Sasha is here to meet him? Thanks bye

Hearing Sasha's name her mood changed....she slammed her phone down and dialled Maan's number

Maan: hello

Geet: tumhari woh dost Sasha ag gaye

She said slamming the phone down harder...as Sasha made her way to the office Geet saw her give Maan a big hug....she couldn't take it anymore and left her office in a fury

Maan's Office

Maan looked through the glass wall and saw how angry Geet was....he couldn't help but laugh at her cuteness

Maan: (thinking to himself) agar itne takleef hai to kahdo woh din labze mujhe

Sasha: how are you MK? And how's the plan working

Maan: I'm good...and it's working great she's burning with jealously....anyways tell me more about your fianc

Maan and Sasha sat there walking to each other catching up on the good old days

Geet's Office

Geet was back in her office walking back in forth talking to herself while looking at Maan and Sasha

Geet: Geet kuch socho...you need to think of an excuse to go inside and get Sasha to leave

Her eyes went to her desk...she knew the perfect way....she quickly rushed out of the office to get everything ready....

Maan's Office

As Maan and Sasha where talking they heard a knock on the door

Maan: come in

Geet walked in holding a tray

Geet: sir coffee?

She asked innocently

Sasha: sir? Geet why are you calling him sir you're his wife

She asked puzzled

Maan: woh actually....Geet wants to remain professional so at the office she still calls me sir

Sasha: oh that is a good idea.....don't want people to assume you are giving her special attention

She said smiling at Geet....Geet just gave Sasha a fake smile and handed Maan his coffee...as she was about to hand Sasha a glass of water she purposely tipped it so it would spill on her..

Sasha: ahhh

Geet: oh sorry....my mistake

She said pretending to care but trying to hide her smirk.....Maan saw her sly smile and shook his head in disbelief but was amused at her action

Sasha: it's ok Geet I'll just go dry up...MK I'll be right back

Maan: hmmmm

As Sasha left Geet couldn't help feel proud of her accomplishment...she turned around to clean the table and saw Maan standing with his arms crossed looking at her

Geet: (thinking to herself) haaye babaji save me....did I go too far?

Maan: Geet what was that?

He asked as he slowly started walking towards her

Geet: what was what sir? I don't know what you are talking about

Maan was standing inches away from her now....Geet put the tray down and quickly turned around to leave....while leaving Maan grabbed her duppata and pulled her towards him slamming her into his hard chest....he let go of her duppata and started to caress the palm of her hand slowly making his way up to her arm...his once touch took Geet's breath away...she couldn't breath...

Maan: (whispered in her ear) Geet why did you do that

Geet: woh mein...it...was an...accident

She said trying to catch her breath....Maan stood behind her smiling.....he backed away and sat his desk....leaving a spell bounded Geet still standing there

Maan: Geet

He said getting her out of her trance

Geet: huh?

Maan: tum ja saktie ho

He said with a sly smile...Geet quickly came back to her senses and grabbed the tray on Maan's desk....as she was running out of the room her hand hit the corner of his filling cabinet

Geet: OUCH

She yelled in pain...Maan swiftly ran to her side and took her hand into his...he started rubbing it to make the pain go away....he couldn't see her in pain

Maan: Geet tum teek to ho na?

Geet: Maan main teek ho...it's ok

As Geet tried to get her hand out of Maan's grasped he slowly brang it up to his lips and kissed her hand ever so gently....Geet looked at his with adoring eyes.... She shyly pulls her hand away and turn her back towards him

Geet: yeh kis liye tha?

Maan: for hurting your hand...and for this morning breakfast....you ran away from me his morning.....had to seize the opportunity

Geet couldn't help but blush...she could feel her cheeks burning up and ran out of the office....

Maan: sooner or later you will have to tell me how you feel....and when that day comes I will be waiting impatiently

Geet's Office

Geet: maybe I did cross a line I should go and make sure she is ok and at least apologize

Geet made her way to the washroom and found Sasha standing under the hand heater trying to dry her top....

Geet: woh Sasha....I'm sorry for spilling water on you

Sasha: oh Geet its ok it happens to anyone

Geet: (thinking to herself) huh she's not made?

She grabbed a paper towel and helped her dry up

Sasha: no Geet its ok it only water no big deal

Geet: I know but still...let me make it up to you....ill buy you a cup of coffee

Sasha knew this would be the perfect time to get to know Geet....she hadn't been alone with her yet

Sasha: sure lets go

Coffee Shop

Geet and Sasha where drinking their coffees and talking to one another...Geet was surprised at how easy it was to talk to her....

Geet: Sasha can I ask you something

Sasha: of course

Geet: you went to school with Maan right?

Sasha: yeah we started collage at the same time

Geet: how was he back then? Was he always this stubborn and mad?

Sasha: (laughing) yes MK has always been like this

As Sasha started telling Geet stories of their collage days she realized that Sasha has always been one of Maan's best friends and that she never and could never love Maan...Geet realized that she had been unfairly judging Sasha....she felt bad for spilling water on her....Geet realized how immature she was being and started to tear up

Sasha: OMG Geet what's wrong? Why are you crying? did I say something

She asked worried

Geet: (crying) Sasha I'm SOOO sorry?

Sasha: Sorry? Why

She asked confused

Geet: woh actually..... I thought you were trying to take Maan away from me....I was scared since this is the first time I've opened my heart up to anyone since Ranbir died....I love Maan and am afraid of losing him

Sasha felt awful...she never realized that this whole time Geet would feel so insecure...she quickly got up and went to Geet's side and gave her a warm hug fighting away her tears...

Geet: (giggling) why are you crying? I'm the one acting stupid

She said as both girls wiped away each other's tears...

Sasha: no Geet I'm sorry woh actually.....Maan and I where just trying to make you jealous

Geet: kya

Sasha: haan Geet... Maan tumse bahut pyar kata hai..... I never realized how hut you would be by our silly game ...trust me I'm engaged I never thought of Maan in that way....Maan loves you too much to ever look at another woman in that way...and Geet he knows that you love him as well.....he was only doing this so you would tell him how you feel

Geet: KYA? HE LOVES ME... and he knows I love him too? Par kaise

Sasha: woh Adi accidently let it slip out

Geet: woh bhi mujhse pyar karte hai

She kept repeating to herself as she gave Sasha a huge hug

Sasha: Haan Geet and I'm going to help you now

Geet: par kaise?

Sasha leaned forward and told Geet "the new plan"....Geet was trying to listen but all that was running through her head was that Maan loved her as well

Geet: (thinking to herself) aaj raat mere aur Maan ki nayi zindagi ki shuruat hai
