Did he reveal his past to Manjari? If so, what was it? I don't understand hindi..I just follow along based on written updates and videos...I love the show so far though :)

Yeah he did..
um, music ruined his life cause his mother ran away with a musician thus his father commit suicide.
and he took a promise on his mother that he will never have anything to do with music but majari made him break that.
