Well said Bri, this is something that needs to come in the limelight and this thread is indeed a good one ! 😊
Freedom of SPEECH and PRESS well does it actually exist in India ? Well why just India the whole Indian sub-continent is to be covered in this...
Instead of focusing on the development of the country and the welfare of the masses these people are out here just talk and nothing more than dat...poverty...child labor...child abuse...trafficking that takes place such a common issue and not to forget unemployment due to which at times these things are on the upfront. But but why will they look into this matter there are better things like REEL life...which is greater and more the talk of town ain't it ?
Banning books and even threatening to stop serials and ads is good...working for the welfare of the masses...
What I don't get is why ?? Aren't we a Democratic Country ?? And why ban them coz you feel they are exposing kids to things that they should not learn...heck there is a medium called as Internet which holds answers to every damn thing and that path can lead to astray...but then why would they..they are banning it calling it obscene why ?? Aren't there things larger than them which...Geet as a serial is an eye opener according to me...there are so many innocent girls whoz whole life is destroyed...yet they have shown so mild there are girls who are thrown into prostitution and all...I don't what they will get by doing so ? Even taking too much interest in Big Boss is too much. They even find the pregnancy and condom ads to be obscene wherein they are actually shown in the positive light so when the public is ready to take in why they aren't ??
I don't get why to take things and highlight them in a negative manner when you can show them in a positive manner and this will help in the progress of the country though indirectly. At least they as politicians can't do anything let the ad makers and the social circuit take matters in their hands. I guess they should stop acting as the Moral Police.
