i think this whole thing has been taken way too far. and as a parent i think both rishi ji and neetu ji have every right to interfere in their son's life. and i do not think that's cheap or that means that they have no class. people need to understand that the media does like to take things out of proportion. you can't believe all that has been said. rishi ji doesn't look like someone who would do something as extreme. i don't know the family personally, but as a father/mother i can understand their frustration with deepika and sonam, who both although were being frankly honest and it takes guts to just spit out the truth, were wrong in doing what they did. they took it too far and now this whole situation is going way too far. can't believe this thread has reached 64 pages. i wouldn't be surprised if it reaches 150. lol
i think everyone (the kapoors, deepika, sonam and everyone else involved) needs to take a chill pill and calm down!

Thank you, Poppy2009. The thing is that I never seem to be able to come to the forum when you guys are on, and therefore I have been a siltent reader all this time.

This Deepika/Sonam bonding is just a superficial bonding that is happening - they seem to share nothing except having Ranbir that is common between them. Except for dissing Ranbir and their other colleagues and "high fiving" each other when the one was "witty" whilst dissing some-one, they disagreed on all else.

And I saw Sonam as subtly bashing Deeps when she said talking about your relationship was "tacky" as Deeps is very open about her relationships. Then there was when she said that she admires Deeps for holding on to Ranbir for so long, I did not see admiration there but it was more snide.

There was only giggling and girls wanting to have fun, but definitely no bonding. I would be surprised to see them together in the far future.
