Idol meets ideal woman

Idol finalist N. C. Karunya has found love on the sets of Indian Idol 2. The lady is question had also been a finalist in the Gala round and was known for her naughtiness and high spirits. No prizes for guessing we're talking about Neha Kakkar. The two were seen together most of the time and were teased mercilessly by people on the sets.

Declaring his feelings, a smitten Karunya said, "Since the beginning of the piano rounds, when I used to see this cute girl mingling with everyone on sets, I would just wait for my turn. 'Bhagwaan ...kab aaegi yeh mujhse baat karne' (Lord, when will she come and talk to me?) is what I would be thinking. Then one fine day she walked up to me and we exchanged "hi's" and after that the discovery of my true feelings was not far behind."

Talking about the romance, Neha says, "I always used to admire Karunya and was very impressed by his song selection, his voice, his performance. I was in awe of him, but as we grew closer, admiration turned into something else. The most beautiful thing was when he called me when I suffering from chicken pox to express his feelings for me.
