It revolves around Dinshaw Sethna (played by Naseeruddin Shah), a retired and penniless sculptor addicted to drugs, living in a dilapidated house in Panchgani with his wife Katy (Dimple Kapadia).
Cyrus (Saif Ali Khan), a stranger, comes to the Sethna house to assist Dinshaw at his pottery school. His entry unveils many dark secrets about the family.
The film's early success at the box office marks a great beginning for Adajania.
