Why doesn't Katrina speak in hindi?

Katrina was at the Barbie doll event, and some reporter (zee tv) was asking her questions in hindi and Kat was answering them in English 😕. I mean she has been in the industry for more than 7 yrs. now, still she can't speak in hindi??!! Even the foreigner dancers ( the backup dancers) speak in hindi when they are asked to 😆. If Katrina can speak hindi in the movies, then why not in the interviews?? 😆.

Err because she's much more fluent in English? I thought that was pretty obvious 😆

In the movies she has a whole team of Dubbing artists, Language translators, Speech and dialogue writers.

Well in the Interviews, She is on her own. 😊

I understand that English is her first language. But then again other actors and actresses also have a different first language. Rekha and Sridevi did not know any Hindi before they entered Bollywood. In fact, many South actors/actresses had to master Hindi before coming to Bollywood! Upen Patel is also British and he said in a TV interview that he took Hindi classes and practiced speaking with his friends to make himself fluent in the language. So maybe Kat doesn't give importance to becoming fluent in Hindi. Despite her thick accent and lack of Hindi skills, her movies still do well and she is the biggest actress in Bollywood!! So I guess not knowing Hindi won't hurt Kat anytime soon!

I find it weird that she cannot speak hindi after so many years of working in "hindi cinema". 🤔. She doesnt even try 😆

Why do all the other celebs talk in english at all the events and their interviews? If they can, why not Kat?

I dont think the other celebs talk in English all the time. I happen to notice Katrina speaking strictly in English every time.
