Novels any day, movies just give a bigger picture of a book in a different way, they change too many things, so yeah novels over books, not only Harry Potter, but others too.

the books....jo's writing is absolute magic and even though the films are really good they cant beat the books...the books have so much detail n understandably the films have to cut alot of it out to fit the 2hr 30 mins time
books are better partly because wen we read a book we see the story unfold with our own perception n the book is the perception of the makers which cud be different

Books anytime They are more intriguing than movies. The plots are more interesting when read than they are shown in movie for eg the 7 potters in the books was more intriguing and binding than the one shown i movie.

Hi Sakshi... I'd say Novels & then Movies... Coz according to me if u wach the movies without reading the books u're gonna just land up getting confused... But if u watch the movies after reading all the series.. U're gonna love them.. as u will see everything that u read come into reality.. So I'd say both compliment each other... However the order is important Novels then Movies...

Hi! I am also a Harry Potter fan. I think the book is always better than a movie!
You can see a lot of useful information about the Chamber of Secrets here:
