Abt ur Q, as per me, Looks like Nakku was swayed momentarily. Just like any other person, she was carried away, wanted to get back to Dutta by showing him his Nakku. So applied the soot. Its safe to say that she was actually infuenced by Kala's words for a moment or two and took up the dark nakku again. But all that mirage of hers broke when she saw him how Dutta was sad and wanting his Nakku back in his life. She understands that however hard she might try, she can never give Dutta back what he wants to see. The Nakku which Dutta thinks real is just a farce. She gets it now. She wants Dutta to get it. So her decision to never touch the soot again and raise false hopes in Dutta. Because that can never be true and she has finally accepted it in her heart that she cannot make a mockery of Dutta's feelings anymore by applying soot. He has to accept her the way she is. She has to make him understand that. She wants him to feel the Nakku he longs for is herself.

I actually think this was a much needed scene. Sply since this is gonna be one of the last interactions between Dark Nakku and Dutta for sometime to come, also it was needed to show us why Nakku has decided to move on from her soot.

Hmm ..... i get it now...Nakusha has certainly put her dilemma's behind her and has got her fears and doubts sorted out now. She might have lost her way before but now she is back on track and is determined and sure about what she has to do next and has surely charted out something. Oh.......OK........ the scene was to show her transition from what she had thought earlier -- that dutta would easily accept her in her fair avatar etc etc as you said the mirage to the actual realisation and sinking in and acceptance of the reality by her.

Ok...i got it now....Thanks for your help...I was really disappointed by the thing and thought that it was just another thing shown by the CV's to drag the story as yesterday only we were discussing that nakusha will put on the soot to make dutta atleast listen to her point of view. But there was no such thing shown and i wondered if not for this, then what else could be the reason for her doing so and hence, my disappointments....But thanks to your views i was able to percieve it this way..Nakusha's worries in addition to her getting influenced by kala's talks led her to be indecisive and to do the forbidden thing once again.

U got it and thats what happened with Nakku. That scene was very much needed and iam glad they showed that scene for us, Now we can connect with fair nakku more and try to move on like her.... haan yaar bilkul, that scene was necessary aur agar Cv's aisa nahin karte to main to phir se maan leti ki yeh gaadi ko phir se ulte raste pe chala rahe hain....But thank god for small mercies.
