Jyoti is being replaced bya show called Aarakshan based on the reservation system in the country!! It's the story of a girl who's lost her brother during the riots of the reservation system n she's from a upper-class family!! on the other side ther's a guy frm the lower class who is benefitted due to the system!! it's the love story of these two ppl who hail frm different backgrounds n whose lives are quite contrary to one another!!! hope this helps u!!! :)

The concept itself is fine, but if it's going to be a love story b/w the guy who's been reverse-discriminated against and the girl who's benefited from the system (or vice versa), then it's really trivializing an important issue

i personally hate this reservation system in the society i wud like 2 c how the serial is working on dat issue but if a luv triangle blossoms in between this serious issues i don't think it will b worth watching but this 4 sure the serial replacing jyoti will not b popular among the masses it doesn't hav ne interesting star cast either...

the backdrop of the show is quite interesting n personally i feel the reservation system does hold quite a lot of importance in our country!! so to see a story unfold based on this concept wud be quite interesting... the only thing i hope is that the CV"s of this show do not ruin the basic tag line of the show in the future!! waiting to watch this new story :)
