Karan Singh Grover admits to his closeness with Nicole Alvares but says he isn't thinking of settling down for the moment

Your show Dill Mill Gayye recently went off air. Mixed emotions? What have you been upto all this while?
There's an empty feeling as the show had been part of my life for the past three years. But I also feel that we had stretched the show a bit. It had a good ending and that was important. On my side, I was chilling and spending time with my family, something I hadn't been able to do for some time.

It would be really difficult for you to break the mould of Dr Armaan...
Breaking moulds is something I have been doing for a long time. Before I entered this industry, I was told I have too many tattoos, then I was told I'm too big and muscular for a TV actor. Even after getting the show, there were apprehensions about how I will play a doctor's role. So breaking moulds is the fun part for me.

So much competition, newer and younger lot of TV actors coming in, any insecurities on your part?
There's always another way of looking at everything. I would rather look at things I want and not what I don't want. I believe that if you want something and work for it, you will get it.

Your film dream did not take off...
I'm meeting a lot of people and reading scripts. These things take time.

Post divorce, you have been spotted with Nicole Alvares. Any plans of getting married?
No, no such plans, not for the moment at least.
