Today they showed the coming together of two imperfect people who are only too aware of their imperfections and are willing to give each other another chance at happiness. Although the lives of Geet and Maan have largely been shaped by destiny, they still had it in them to make or marr each other's lives.

In the past we had seen Geet trying to escape from Maan because she felt guilty for her past. Although it was not her fault that Dev ruined her life and left her pregnant, she was guilty of not confiding in Maan earlier, knowing that he was developing feelings for her. She knew the profound effect she had on him but she hesitated to reveal the truth because she felt scared, embarrassed and unworthy. When she finally managed to blurt out the truth, both the manner and timing were wrong. She knew how much the partial truth hurt him and rectified her own blunder but still could not whole-heartedly accept his love and commitment because she felt unworthy of him. We saw her constantly wrestling with her love for him and her desire to set him free for his own good, frustrating Maan in the process. While Maan knew something was disturbing her, making her feel constrained and reluctant to admit her true feelings for him, he did not know what exactly it was. So he had taken that extra step to understand her and get her to reveal what really was bothering her. When he knew how she saw herself ' an impure unworthy woman for him ' he hastened to assure her that she was pure and deserving of him. He convinced her that her past did not matter to him and what he was interested in, is to be part of her future. He convinced her that he wanted to start and end every day with her. He convinced her that they were meant to be. He freed her from her sense of guilt. He fought for the survival of their relationship and won it for them.

Today it was Geet's turn to reciprocate. This time Maan was the one feeling guilty and undeserving of her love. Was it his fault that he happened to be the brother of the man who ruined her life? Certainly not, but he was guilty of not clearly spelling out his love when she was at her most vulnerable and needed to hear it the most. She had repeatedly been betrayed/wronged by every person close to her and so had serious trust issues. It was evident that she had some serious misconceptions when she confronted him at the office and accused him for taking his brother's side and planning to marrying her to save his brother's hide. Instead of clearing her misconception he only precipitated matters and threw her out of his office in full public glare, provoking her to hit back that she can take care of herself and fight her own battles. This only served to fuel his ego and brought out the vindictive and vicious side of him. Instead of being the balm for her wounds, he was inflicting more wounds on her. It took a tight slap from her to make him see reason. When he realized his mistake, he tried to leave her for her own good, much like Geet did earlier. Geet had to now assure him that he is not to be solely blamed, it was circumstances that drove them apart. She had to assure him that her past will not marr their future. If anything their separation would only negatively impact on both her and her unborn child. She had to convince him that he was the one she wanted to spend the rest of her life with. She freed him from the sense of guilt. This time she fought for the survival of their relationship and won it for them.

Yes, destiny brought them together but they were on the verge of breaking the bond because of their own folly. Good they realized their mistakes before it was too late and decided to mend it. It is no longer destiny that is shaping their lives but they themselves are consciously moving towards each other to unite as one in order to face all the trials and tribulations and enjoy the fruits of their labour. They may be imperfect individuals but are a perfect couple, complimenting and completing each other.
