| What was the most intriguing part about your role as lawyer KD Pathak? This is a genre that I have never attempted before, a character that I have never played before. Lawyers are normally considered to be boring geeks but I have tried to change the perception. KD Pathak has a tongue in cheek kind of sense of humor and also does magic. He is very rich and looks cool. I hope the audience finds him interesting. | |||

| Any special preparation or research for the role? Yes there has been a lot of preparation. I attended a lot of meeting to discuss about the character. We also have a lawyer present on the sets to guide me. I am also learning magic as it is the requirement of the role. | |||

| The show is a weekly so do you feel it will be able to attract the audience who is now used to dailies? CID on Sony is also a weekly but it has been running for more than a decade now. So I think Adalat should also work even though it is a weekly. | |||

| Which on-screen lawyer do you feel is most memorable and why? I have not watched any TV show about lawyers because I did not want to be influenced by any character but yes my favorite TV show is Boston Legal. | |||

| Which real life lawyer inspires you? I have not studied about any real life lawyer but if I have to choose then Tony Jethmalani is the one that inspires me. Why should the audience watch Adalat? Adalat is a total entertainment package which has drama, humor as well as magic and I hope the audience enjoys it. Udaan had received a lot of appreciation can we expect to see you in more films in the future? I am doing some International films but I have no idea when they will release in India. I am not doing any Bollywood films. | |||
