Does SS feel threatened?

Over the past few episodes, I noticed that SS's family has been talking back to him, daring to answer back, disobey his commands. And I was wondering from SS's POV.... Does he feel that his authority and resect as Head of Household are being undermined? Is he losing his hold over his family?

Just two days ago, when Shakti refused to get married and SS was about to hit him with a shoe, Krishna stopped SS and told him that he'll have to pay a heavy price if he dared to do anything.Then, Shakti is still pursuing Arushi despite SS telling him not to. Today again Krishna talked back saying how could SS throw Amma out of the house in front of her sons. And most importantly, Amma herself dared to reply with a crisp answer today that if she has to cry all her life so does SS.

What I feel is that the reason for SS's frequent outbursts are that he feels his sons and wife are not scared of him anymore.And that if it continues like this, Shakti and Krishna will take over from him. Its just my POV... but SS feels threatened. And he will do something soon to tighten his grip over his family.

Flashback to when Krishna tells he wants to get married and he is talking about Prats's beauty at the dining table. SS tells Krishna you have power when people are scared of you. He told Takurain the day Krishna and Prats went to candlelit lunch that we can't lose him, Baba is already lost to us. He bullied KN in the past now he is talking back. As I mentioned in my post Takurain sounded more like Prats than Takurain today. The influence has been growing roots and now it's started showing some branching out.

Today's hilarious bit was also serious in one way...........SS was losing control of his family. He said he could lose it all in the blink of an eye one day. The way he roared at Baba when he said you will have a haavy price to pay sure looked like the buzurg Takur is afraid of becoming a toothless tiger with his children talking control. No wonder he drops his name Takur SS at the drop of a hat more frequently than he ever did before. We saw Takurain get her prasadi for the first time in a very long time today. The balance of power is shifting dont' know who will be at the helm soon.

Good examples Meraji. Really SS is feeling intimidated. I think then it will be a struggle for power between the two junior Thakurs. Though ideally Shakti should be next in line to SS. But Shakti isn't as clever as our Baba, is he?

I'd like to see more of this track if it means we'll get more hilarious scenes like we did. 😆 Seemed like the old Thakurs were back.... without Prats starting her lecture in the middle of the fun 😆
