Bebo pays tribute to Bollywood

Sassy superstar Kareena Kapoor is set to do the opening act of a forthcoming global music awards.

But what's interesting about this development is that with her performance, she is paying tribute to music that's defined the different eras of Bollywood. She will perform on some of the most iconic Hindi numbers of the last few decades.

These songs formed the identity of certain periods of time in the music industry and are representative of the changes in style, mood and pop culture that had an indelible effect on music governing the changes in the music scene.

The songs include Hothon Mein Aisi Baat Hai, Chumma Chumma, Le Gayi (Dil To Pagal Hai fame) and It's Rocking. Biggies from the Indian music industry like Asha Bhosle, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shaan, Shankar Mahdevan, Ustad Rashid Khan, Pt. Vishva Mohan Bhatt, Salim-Suleiman, Shreya Ghoshal, among many others are set to attend the event.
