But I think that even if T&D somehow went back on the BLF track, which I think is pretty hard to do now, the story, in a way, has lost a lot of its "freshness and uniqueness", especially since the whole makeover thing has been dragged...

I might be reading too much into this. But I strongly believe the show is infact an insult to religion(explicitly Sikhism, while I wouldn't say it's targeted towards this exact religion, but because it's a major player in the show's content). Everything about the show has become too artificial, as I love saying this, but there is quite honestly no better word to describe what I mean--Logic has become such a lost theme in the show's mentality, that the entire surface of the show relies on brain-dead movement. And using religion in the same context is infact an insult to such an essential practice. Perhaps, this might all be unintentional, as Tony & Deeya are themselves from a Sikh background, which is why I don't feel too offended from the show. But it certainly goes to show the level of wits these two moronic idiots have.

Hmm... I'm not sure I agree with "possible misuse" of religion in the serial... if that's what you are trying to convey.

T&D have made the characters to look dumb (unintentionally ofcourse), and have shown them rely on God for strength in their hours of despair. I personally don't see anything wrong in it. Even dumb people have a right to exercise religion!! 😆 (That was a petty attempt at humor!)

Jokes apart, I would probably somewhat agree if you say they could be using the serial as a means to propagate religion (hidden agenda)... which is ok too I guess..

Hell.. I'm not sure what I'm writing anymore... too many vague thoughts in my mind.....

Being Sikh myself, i don't find it as an insult. You see poeple that use the name of religion to do stupid things in everyday life, example : terrorism. By the way, i know this is off topic, this movie came out a while ago its called Jo Bole So Nihaal, i thought the content in the movie had nothing to do with the title, i wasn't offended by any means, just a lil ticked off. But all the Sikh people have boy cotted it and now it doesn't even play in the movie theatres anymore, i feel these people seriously need a LIFE! who goes around for weeks just trying to boy cott a movie.🤔
