FRONT PAGE
Krishna treats Prats like a queen and purchases expensive gifts just for his beautiful Babu. Takur mard are celebrating Diwali with a game of dice and cards. Not satisfied with the insults and taunts he already received earlier in the week, Shamu gatecrashes at Takurs for Diwali where Krishna plays the cordial host to his sasural. Saxes have plans for an expected stop over at Mathur's for the evening after SCAM and Jail extend their invitation. Arushi's is rattled after her saree catches fire. She is safe from burns, the only casualty being her saree. KN not satisfied with bidding his wife in a game of dice decides to play peeping Tom on Arushi. A shocked Kesar listens to her drunken husband's amorous sleep talking. Baba and his Babu have a special private Diwali celebration of their own on the terrace of the Niwas. Prats wonders out loud if the Arushi's saree on fire is a bad omen foreboding difficult times ahead for her sister. Nainaji goes into denial after hearing Prats.
ART & MUSIC
It's Diwali. Prats is in the mood to decorate her home this year with a beautiful rangoli on center stage. Ganti Dadi is appreciative of her talent. Kesar is in a festive mood and offers to lend a helping hand. The two bahus are expressing their creative side with joy. Krishna wanders in on his search to find his missing Babu and wants to learn how to do rangoli.
Back at Saxsena's, it's Arushi who draws the rangoli. Komal wants to learn how to draw it too, she'd love to do one of Adarsh's tum-tum.
How come we haven't heard any music these days? Time to turn on the stereo idling away in Krishna's bedroom and play some music so Kriya can boogie together.
SPORTS
Saxsenas have probably never heard the word. They barely venture outside their green house and seem to prefer huddling in their living room.
Across town it's a game of dice and cards at Takur Niwas. Krishna and KN join SS and his friends for their annual Diwali indoor activity. Neither son of SS has anything much left to bet. Krishna bets his ring for his next roll of the dice. A drunken KN however decides to play Yudhistar of Mahabaratha and puts his wife on the bidding block and gets a good tongue lashing from SS for his move. KN would willing do it in a sober state but for his fear of facing SS's wrath.Poor Kesar is dreaming about love from her husband. Meanwhile he is ready to sell her off in a game of dice.
Krishna takes Prats up to the terrace after the family has called it a night for some special time for just the two of them lighting up her favorite firecrackers just for her visual pleasure. He then invites her to a game of dice'''..with a twist in his favor of course. He explains the rules of the game that Prats has never played before''..before she realizes her husband want to play Strip poker. She is up to it and teases Krishna before they come to a mutual understanding of celebrating their first Diwali together '..KRIYA way.
ENTERTAINMENT
Mathur boys SCAM and JAIL come bearing gifts for the Saxes. They invite the family to spend Diwali with them. Notice how the Saxes never invite the Mathurs or the Takurs over to their home. It's always the Takurs inviting them over. If they accidentally extend an invitation it is usually exclusive one to Prats and never any of the other Takurs including their damadh Krishna. Saxes may have developed a thick skin after the regular bouts of verbal and emotional abuse from the Takurs. Shamu in particular is shameless to return to the scene of the crime where he was humiliated after forcibly painting his face with coal. A couple of days ago his daughter told him point blank to his face she would not go where her husband and sasural were not invited for they were in reality her real family now. Yet he returns uninvited to the same scene only this time with the entire family in tow sans Dadi for another round of mockery straight from the lips of SS.
Komal is excited to see her family playing dice and wants to join in though Adarsh voices his disappoval. What did Adarsh expect from Komal? She may have married a Sad Sax but she is and will always be a pure bred Takur girl. The Saxes only saving grace is someone to knock some reality into their brains, fogged up with bookish knowledge that has also blinded them to reality.
TRAVEL
When Prats turns down her father's exclusive invitation to Arushi's wedding in front of Krishna and her sasural, Krishna is thrilled and moved by her loyalty to him and his family. As a way to make amends he promises her a trip into town. Shamu and family make an unexpected, uninvited stopover at Takurs for Diwali. Komal takes SS's jeep without notice and slams the jeep into a tree. How come the Takurs never questioned about their banged up jeep or her hurt on her forehead? Is SS so immersed in his game of dice he tunes everything else out?
RELIGION
It's Diwali. Saxes apparently enjoy a low-key festival with a few noiseless firecrackers and peaceful times. Mathur boys bring them a few gifts. In return they are offered a cup of chai each that thrills SCAM to know end. He has been served his "amrit".
SS greets Shamu upon arrival at the Niwas and invites him to a game of dice. Shamu for his part turns down the invitation and gives SS and gives the tuned-out audience a mini-baashan on "parampara" or "tradition"that he refuses to budge. Will this man ever get off his idealistic platform and live in the real world?
After Arushi's saree catches fire and she is changing her clothes, Prats gets sentimental and wonders aloud to Nainaji if the fire was a symbolism of something terrible and bigger threat to appear in Arushi's life. Prats already has a suspicion of what might be, it's SCAM's double life. But for now she is keeping her cards close to the vest. Nainaji scolds Prats for daring to even think such a thing about her sister's future and praises SCAM as a good man who will make Arushi very happy. Talk about building castles in the air. That's Nainaji for you. While you are at it, Nainaji while you are at it how about reading a preface to the book in your hand if not the first chapter. While you are at it try removing the jacket off the book too. You may find that what you thought was a copy of Ramayana could actually be a copy of Kamasutra or even worse a copy of Jackie Collins' "Lovers & Players" that may seriously offend your sentiments.
Komal goes with Dadi around the corner from green house to feed a cow some food praying for Adarsh's speedy recovery off the tum-tum.
FOOD
Krishna takes Prats into Civil Lines out on the town and lovingly feeds her gol gappas. It's too spicy for his Babu so he runs to get her some bottled water to ease the sting.
Takurain taunts Prats into serving the mard some snacks in keeping with Takur tradition as they play a few rounds of dice and cards.
Are the Saxes so cheap or dirt poor that they couldn't afford a box of sweets or a few fruits as gifts when they arrive at Takurs for Diwali? Or are they just plain Kanjoosi Saxes?
Komal is purchasing veggies from a vendor when Jai Bro who seems to be trailing her these days like an ant after sugar. He offers to take her out to a non-veg meal after he overhears her tell the veggie vendor that meat is lot cheaper than veggies these days. Komal shares that Adarsh was going to take her to the hotel for a non-veg meal before Jai put him on his tum-tum. He apologizes again for hurting Adarsh and to make up for her pain offers to take her out for a non-veg meal soon. Komal watches, a spark of emotion is reflecting in her eyes expressing her confusion and questions.
AUTOMOBILES
Komal is bent on revenge against Jai Bro. She takes off on her own leaving a helpless Adarsh sitting in his tum-tum while the Saxes worry about her missing from home. Komal disappointed with SS and KN's reluctance to help get her revenge on Jai Bro takes SS's jeep and heads straight into town looking for her victim. Jai Bro obliges by parking himself in the middle of the road facing a speeding jeep head on with Komal behind the wheel. However she veers the vehicle at the last moment and runs the jeep into a tree hitting her head on the steering wheel. Phew! Luckily she has no amnesia. She gets her head off the steering wheel only to see a concerned Jai dabbing the blood off her forehead wit his handkerchief. There were a few sparks flying this married woman and this teen brat.😳 Does this spell the exit of Adarsh from Komal's life or will he finally pay attention to his wife?
FASHION
Krishna shops for Pratigya's first diwali with Takurs. He charges the expensive bell to SS's account and proudly displays each of his purchases to the entire Takur family. Kesar is happy for Prats and resigned to her plight of being tied to her uncaring mard. GD is thrilled for the young couple😃. Takurain's green eyed monster rears it's ugly head after Krishna tells her all his purchases are exclusively for his Babu. Did Krishna buy himself anything at all? It's after all his first Diwali with Babu too. He even asks KN to take a look at the expensive jewelry and saree he bought for his beautiful Babu. Was Baba trying to shame KN into doing something special for his wife Kesar too? 😲😕
Krishna tells Prats to forget about the offensive comments to him from his family. He hands her a beautiful coral colored saree and asks her to wear it "for his eyes only". Prats model ban jayeeeeeeeeeeeee.
It's Komal's first Diwali after marriage too. How come Takurs haven't given their beti or damadh gifts for Diwali? Poor Komal has truly ended with the short end of the stick. Prats doesn't much care for all the expensive gifts Krishna keeps showering on her and Komal who loves jewelry and clothes barely gets any at all from the Saxes. Forget the things, she doesn't get any attention from her sasural or her presently tum-tum strapped husband Adarsh. What does the girl have to do to get some attention from him? Have an affair that will shock the sanskaari Saxes out of their skins?😲
FINANCE/BUSINESS
SS teaches Krishna a few lessons about finances. He reminds Krishna that he is spending his father's money and not his own when he returns home after a shopping spree for Prats's first Diwali as his wife. The rest of the Takurs jaye tel lene😛.
SS also gives Krishna a mini baashan during a game of dice. "There are no winners or losers in a game of dice. If you have the money you get to play. No credit lines available in gambling games. If you run out, you quit the game. It doesn't matter which of us plays ultimately the money is mine". Reminding Krishna that he is a freeloader and has not brought in one coin to the family coffers as of yet? Krishna is either in denial or just doesn't get it. What does the future trend predict for Kriya and their finances? Will all those expensive jewels Krishna bought her for Diwali be used to pawn to pay their bills in the not so distant future when either SS kicks them out or Kriya make a graceful exit to live life on their terms away from the crime lords in the family?
METRO/(Action around town)
Komal tells Adarsh she won't let Arushi's wedding go forward. She attempts to hang herself but when Adarsh calls her bluff by offering to help she changes her mind.
SCAM is parked his white car an odd ball some where in Civil Lines near a building, a few trees and a gol gappa stand. Prats is waiting for Krishna to return with some water for her turns around and familiar man with a dark haired woman sitting in his car. She is confused for the man's skin blends with the white car in which he is sitting. When she turns around after having a word with Krishna the car is gone.
SS and Takurain return from town after Diwali shopping and annoyed at the rangoli on the floor calling it a pile of messy colors (not a creative bone in your body SDS, is there?) she pours water on it and washes it off so her mard can play their annual game of Diwali dice.
Arushi's saree pallu is alit and its Krishna as usual to the rescue. He brings a bucketful of water and douses the flames off her saree lying on the ground.
HEALTH & MEDICINE
Sajjan Singh plays a game of reverse psychology which ends up with egg on Shamu's face and a moment of pride that his bahu chose Baba and his family over her maike for the first time.
Arushi is startled by a few noisy firecrackers and move backwards. Her long saree pallu encounters a burning lamp and catches fire. None of these women take safety measures around fire on MKAP. They walk around with pallus swinging freely behind them with lighted lamps all around the place. Was Nainaji trying to save her daughter or throw her in more peril?Mother and daughter were waving the pallu making it worse as the fire spread. Didn't the know that the first thing to do is have the person get on the ground and roll to put out the flame. At least they managed to strip her off the saree while Prats found a towel conveniently hanging nearby to cover her up with it.
Arushi is visibly shaken but did it really need two women to walk into the house? Is this girl prepared to put out bigger fires about to blaze a trail into her life soon? After a change of clothes Arushi seems to have made a quick recovery.
Shaken up by the fire Arushi, Nainaji and Prats calm her down. A drunken KN decides to be pepping Tom while Arushi changes into Prats's saree after the fire incident through the bathroom window. Kriya need to add some security measures to their new bathroom.
Unable to cope with amorous thoughts and reactions, he sticks his drunken head under a tap of water to cool off. That is never going to be enough. He needs his head dunk in a vat of ice for a few hours to freeze it for a few months.
Katra Naresh may need a visit to the doctor for his sleep disorder. He is not just mumbling but sleep talking with clarity that wakes his wife Kesar who has been banished to the floor of their bedroom to sleep. Kesar is shocked at KN's amorous sleep talking. Will this finally light the match that will catapult Kesar like a rocket into action? She could set fire like a monkey with it's tail on fire and burn the Takurs. Will that day come when we cheer Kesar to stand up for her self-esteem if not for any other reason emboldened by the steady support of her devrani Prats?
TECHNOLOGY
Prats knows she can't take off from Takurs Niwas without Krishna's support. Right now she needs to sort out her suspicions about Aman babu so she is not telling Krishna anything just yet. She uses Krishna's cell phone to verify the news when Krishna is next door singing tanda tanda paani...🥳. Suchchai ka saat dene wala SCAM lies to Prats and claims it must a case of mistaken identity as he was visiting her family to apologize for the events at the engagement only to make matters worse by arguing with Komal.
Prats calls Nainaji to verify SCAM's story, which she does assuring Prats all izz well now with Komal as well.
Arushi calls her amorous fianc SCAM on his cell phone as he has not called or texted her. Her heart is telling her something ain't right. But does she pay heed to the signals? NOPE! Little does she know that the reason he cuts off both her calls is bec' he is playing Romeo he is at that very moment sharing his bed with his dark haired queen (Arushi's sauten in waiting) sleeping beside him. He reaches over and with a smile kisses the mysterious woman on her forehead. Talk about a playuh! What does this woman see in him? Is she aware he is already engaged to a child bride? Too bad he can't be hauled off to thana if this woman is only his mistress/lover.
EDUCATION
Krishna shares his pearls of wisdom.....lose at a game of dice and win in love. Also, a blind man can never become the hunted. Krishna is resistant to learning English words when Prats calls him a cheater.

Piasiya getting a sound tongue lashing from Krishna with the besharmeeee tag
Krishna telling Amma to pack her bags so he can take her to Mumbai for auditons on TV.
Telling SS to take his wife on an outing and learn a few good things from him
Prats taking one bangle at a time frustrating Baba at their game of strip poker
Amma getting a smack down talk from Baba for picking on his Babu
Krishna is enjoying himself when he lights the flowerpot firecrackers for Prats's pleasure.
Krishna was being a gentleman when SS told him to help Arushi. His response Arushi's mother is there to care for her. Was SS trying to get Baba into trouble with his sasural thus forcing him to come back to the Takur family fold?
Baba barely leaves any leaf or rock unturned all in the name of seeing his Babu happy all the time.
