The One soul two bodies have retired to their room, Krishna is sitting on the bed and admiring all the gifts that he has purchased for his meherau *He is more excited than his beebi, Ladka hoke yeh haal hai agar ladki hotha tho !!* .[Pratigya is standing and watching,displeasure written large over her normally impassive countenance]..Krishna opens the gift boxes one by one and natters excitedly "Arrey Raja * Why does he choose all male terms of endearments to address his wife * See, All this are for u, dear..U will look very beautiful in this ...putting a dampener on Krishna's Enthu, Pratigya asks "But Krishna, what was the need to get all this ?" [Krishna looks surprised ] ..Did I ask U to get me all this gifts" [Krishna shakes his head as if shrugging off her foolish question] and proudly replies " was there any need to ask , Dont I understand U , Anyways Ur Husband is a very understanding and clever Man * Really , then why are u unable to understand the taunts thrown at u by ur parents *He understands ur desires without u verbalizing it, Thats why Got all this " Pratigya is not having any of it , Thins her lips in disapprobation and looks away , Krishna notices her disapproval and tries to mollify her aggravation " Any way I dont get it daily , it is only on festive occasion that I am gifting , Moreover this is ur first Diwali after Marriage so be happy , dont pull this long face and dont destroy my expectation's ". Krishna begins to take the jewels and shows it for her to admire ....Pratigya Folds her hands like a displeased cop and in a dulcet voice packing a dynamite she asks "Krishna , Doesn't it bother u that Ppl taunted u for buying all this on their money " * NO !! * [For a brief,very brief second, Krishna's eyes reflect the pain, but he quickly shrugs it off ],but still l it doesn't gall u " ..Krishna gets up and stands near Pratigya rejoining "If u are perturbed by what they say then Just close ur ears [So saying he closes her ears ] and ur annoyance ends right there and also Ppl of this house are prone to taunting disease * Their favorite pass time*..I have become used to it * Perils of drinking Buffalo milk , Baba has developed a thick skin just like a buffalo* ...Pratigya cannot be placated by this words, she moves towards the bed and says in a tone reflecting her pain "It may not perturb u Krishna , But it disturbs me ..I do not like Ppl pointing fingers at U ...It hurts me when that happens "..Krishna smiles and hugs her from behind * why cant they have face to face hugging * "I feel happy , bec now u feel bad for what they said about me, Krishna grins at her refusal to be calmed ,continues "Leave all that , Look I have got so much for u , even I shud get something as repayment [ He leans forward to get his repayment but is stopped by Pratigya ]..Krishna adjures her not to protest and pulls out a pink sari and asks her to wear it ..Pratigya tells him ..Not right now *Tho kya isske liye Muhurat Nikhalne padega *..But Krishna will not be refused , He forces her "U have to wear all this and show me " Pratigya gives a exasperated sigh and goes to do his bidding ...Krishna heaves a sigh at successfully diverting her mind ...and waits for her to emerge from the bathroom * 3 days running we are getting thedarshan of the bathroom door ...Allright CV's we now accept that Krishna's room has a bathroom that too with a door **

Pratigya is welcoming Goddess Lakshmi by drawing a colorful Rangoli ..GD is looking approvingly at this Michelangelo's art when Krishna comes out calling for Pratigya * Why does this remind me of a 3 yr old kid coming in search of his momma for his horlicks*..he comes to the action room and is brought up short by the sight of the vibrant,colorful Rangoli lighting up the dreary room, Krishna face lights up and he warbles"Arrey Babu, u are very talented , dear [GD N Kesar look at him in varying degrees of amusement]..U have magic in ur hands ..today u have turned this house into a home....Teach me how to do this"..Pratigya "No need for u to learn" ..Krishna pays no heed to her protest and bends to take the colors, Pratigya smartly holds off his hand and proceeds to give him a brief homily * Poor Guy was just asking for it * Krishna , She says ..Today is not like everyday ..to day is a sacred day and today too I have to tell u [as if to a little child] that go and take ur bath, If u want to help me go and take bath "..Krishna gets defensive and says "I am ready to be a Kid whole life cos u get all love and affection * U might be ready, Baba...We want to see a bablu or Babli in near future, samjho * and as for sacred and sanctity , God sees our heart and feeling and not whether I have taken bath or not " Pratigya laughs and just at this moment the serpents enter the paradise and curdle the milk with their poison leaving a teary Pratigya , An angry but helpless Krishna, a mute Kesar and GD .
Wednesday was the day of elaborating the already explained part ...
The Komal versus Jai scene stood out for its poignancy ... Komal has changed without her being aware of it ..for a girl who considers taking a life as merely breaking a cap of the bottle, her sudden inability to harm a person who hurt her possession has taken her by surprise , she is alarmed by her perceived weakness not realizing that she is morphing into a woman leaving her bratty tom boyishness. The Thakurs believe in giving double of what they get ..and when Komal set out she was following this dictum, but her resolve failed and she ended up being injured..unaware that the principles and kindness of Sax's have seeped into her and she is turning into a compassionate woman ..She is confused and thinks that she has letdown Adarsh by not punishing the perpetrator....Adarsh understands her predicament adn moves in to calm her by saying ..He has forgiven Jai [ there is no need for guilt ...cos he did not demand nor want any punishment ]..Komal appears to be calmed by this words but will she accept that or will she be driven to punish Jai for the pain he has caused ti Adrsh will remain interesting to watch, For despite everything Komal knows that Adarsh has hidden his pain, his anger sacrificed his need for justice so that his sister may get married ....
Jai was another surprise...So far we have seen him as a typical self-centered, selfish and callous youth ....It was a surprise to see him rushing to help Komal and wipe off her wound with such concern and care ...Are the CV's trying to show that Jai has changed after a minutes spell in the slammer or that he always had his heart in the right place whose true nature came to the fore during an emergency ....One thing I did notice was when all the Mats were busy looking down at Komal and giving her a wide berth ....He was the only one who spoke to her civilly ..Is this the indication of Komal-JM liaison [as speculated by many ] or is it merely to show that despite his bratty behavior , he has innate decency ..
Krishna was taunted again by his parents ....and as usual he shrugged it off like a duck shrugging off the water from its body..not so Pratigya ..today she was content with expressing her discontent but tomorrow it will turn into pointed probes and later outright expectations that he start a job...The screws are being tightened on Krishna slowly and inexorably ....
Today Krishna has got the hint that his parents jibes disturbs Pratigya ...He has diverted her mind off it for now..but how long will this go on ...will Krishna think it over and decide to work or will he wait for the proverbial cut to the umbilical cord before he decides to take action
