November 2^nd 2010 Written Update

Kabir tells Jyoti to sign the divorce papers. He signs them and hands it to her. She rips them up at once, yelling at how he could think she is an object that can be placed here and there at will. Asha, overhearing this, runs over to where Bhavri and Rashmi are playing with Jeet. On mentioning the topic, she realizes Rashmi's face looks like she knows something. With a little convincing, Rashmi reveals to them that Roshni has cancer. Later, all 3 women play with Roshni and decorate her room. Jyoti comes in, confused at the decorations. They reveal that they know the truth. They express their support for Jyoti in this battle.

In the front room, RP is getting a speech written when Kabir enters with Roshni in his arms, looking a little distant. CS and RP ask him if everything is ok, and he lies that Roshni is sick. CS is suspicious but RP tells her not to worry. CS goes to Vikrant and tells him she's getting the guest room ready for the person. Rashmi enters and asks who they are talking about. They insult her and quiet her up.

Meanwhile CM goes to Pankaj with a new method of recovery she found in a magazine. It seems promising and he talks to a doctor about it. Kabir, Jyoti, and Roshni are at a darga. Pankaj meets up with them there and tells Jyoti he found a way to cure Roshni without Jyoti having to compromise her duty as a wife. End.

Jyoti must have telepathically learnt from Neelam this technique of saving one's marriage - simply ripping up the divorce papers. 😆 Kabir signed it, gave it  to her & she ripped it up.  Up to here, it was okay, but her telling Kabir after that that they'd save both Roshni as well as their marriage was ridiculous - what  did Jyoti know that Kabir didn't?

I commented in the new DOTW thread about how superstitious the serial seems to be - the world specialist couldn't come up w/ a better cure then the  bone-marrow-from-sibling-only, but somehow, Jyoti going barefoot to this mandir is going to solve things.  Even more surreal - the cure, which this world class specialist couldn't conceive of, Bhairavi does, and discusses it w/ Pankaj.  So not only is Bhairavi now reformed, she's a medical genius who can come out w/ miracle cures from the internet where specialized doctors fail.  Wah!!!

And not only that, after all the cancer specialists that they've seen, Pankaj  now goes to a gynocologist for the solution.  That's right - always go to a GP when a specialist can't help you.  It's like when you can't get the timing belt for your porsche,  go to the nearest Midas for it.

Reshmi should have asked Harmukhi @ the  end whether she wanted to be called by name, and maybe even addressed her that way.  Also, why does she bring in things like coffee to Vikrant  w/o being asked - that too is doormat behavior, although not as severe as Asha's.  If Vikrant wants to drench himself w/ whisky, keep your distance.  As for the new aafaq coming in for her, wouldn't that person also have to deal w/ not just Jyoti, but also St Sumer, as well as a much improved moraled Asha & Bhavri, who're a lot more supportive of Reshmi and have already made the haveli  welcoming for her, regardless of Vikrant & CS?  Speaking of which, why does  CS care whether Roshni is Kabir's baby or not - it's not like she has any close ties w/ him - he can't even stand her.

Anyway,  good that one ugly part of the serial seems to have ended, but again, a big 👎🏼 to the CVs for coming up w/ this inane track.

Yes, even I am happy the ugly part is over and we were spared the horror of such random switching of marriages. Pankaj visiting a gynecologist only suggests that he fond another method of getting a Pankaj-Jyoti child without Jyoti having to have a physical relationship with him (why the hell would he otherwise visit a gynac when Roshni needs an oncologist for treating cancer?)

I hope JyotiR get impressed by Pankaj's efforts and let Pankaj keep Roshni and have visiting rights while the new child can stay with JyotiR, (Please Jyoti, tell everybody that its Kabir's kid and don't go about displaying your honesty talents, we have known enough of that when we saw you concealing really important secrets from both Pankaj and Kabir respectively) and this matter ends on a happy note with no obscenity!

Change over to ViShmi reunion and RP-CS exposure, quick..... We're tired of the track now......
