The other factor is that many of us our avid readers, we know the hero will always be the hero with shades of grey. So a new character, good and proper, we knew that he would later turn out to be anything but that!😉

Pearl Grey and team may fiddle around, experiment show someone having advantage time after time but ultimately they will never deviate from the golden rule of writing - changing their character mid point. They are nearly a year into this show, the hero a character with shades of grey and often bits of black is the HERO. He will remain so. They will test his character constantlyoften take him to the limit but always they will bring him back to what makes him the hero.
