personally, SRK does has an ego, but i like that he always remembers his roots... it's okay to have pride in your work, and i like that he can make fun of himself with as much ease as he makes fun of others...! 😆😆 though, he can be arrogant at times, which i do not like...!! but he is genuine with his praise... and yes, it helps that he is extremely articulate... but his stance does not keep changing... though, i must add that there are times when he praises someone for damage control... and it usually shows... like it's quite obvious that he had a recent tiff with Farah... disagreements are normal, but i think it's important that the person gives the other the credit that they are due... (like the example someone quoted for Salman-SRK)...!!

in general though, i think men are usually more sporting when it comes to competition, as compared to women... and i say that from personal experience...!!

I think Bebo doesn't always mean that she's the best & all...she just has a tad too much confidence in herself because she knows she can do very good. She's aware of that -- so she reflects so in her thoughts.

SRK was perceived as arrogant & vain when entering the Industry cause he didn't take cr*p from people who said he was "ugly" (don't like the word) not the heroic type - not attractive enough/...he always fought back about the fact he was an actor and that he could play any role given....

I guess Bebo who was a fat/chubby kid..always in the shadow of her slim and "adorable" elder sister/ the legend of her gd father -- had developped some complexes...that's very understandable! So in many ways she tries to show that yes I'm the BEBO Kapoor so I deserve my own place & space in people's attention & mind.....and yes you can think I'm talented as other members of my family....She's really proud of her ascendency...good for her...but she should stop talking about how acting is the ONLY center of her life...it's good to have sane obssessions..now she has reached her goal..she's recognized and appreciated for her work...she should try to be appreciated for some humility...not everytime but sometimes it's good to have some to remain clear-sighted.

And i so agree about the last line...the men are so witty and comic and their joke about or laugh it off, but the women can't do it! Also women has a limited career span so they'll obviously gonna have more insecurities than the men! Plus, the audience is into aging men, but not really into aging women!!

Any star be it a Amitabh, Aamir, Salman, SRK or a Ash, Kat, PC, Kareena, or a sport star like a Sachin or a Dhoni or for that matter anyone succeesful have enough arrogance and ego fatter than the tons of crores they make. Nothing wrong with it. Its just a natural transition because of the amount of adultion, the fame, the money, the recognition.

Its just that they are smart enough and mature too to not show it in public and go on making statements in every press conference that how good they are or even if they make they are smart enough to make it in a way that is not so obvious like how Kareena does. 😉

and really, i don't know why everything needs to be generalized so much, to state that there really is no difference, because obviously, there is...!! and really, nothing wrong with that... everyone has a different personality... i have no problems if people think Amitabh is an egotistical man who thinks others are insects.... 😆😆 i give his example, because he gets the worst of the comments...! 😛 but really, i do think that people exaggerate points to suit their conclusion and perception... i can understand where many of his points come from... and as a father, i don't really blame him...!! everyone has a different way to deal with situations... so be it... it does not make me lose any respect for him whatsoever... 😃 but that does not mean, i am going to start generalizing and blame every other star to try to contradict others..!! 😛😛
