Aamir to act in Farhan Akhtar's suspense thriller

After much speculations Farhan Akhtar has finally started filming his Don 2 with Shahrukh Khan, and the lucky producer is also teaming up once again with Aamir Khan for a suspense thriller.

Aamir was last seen in the blockbuster 3 Idiots last year and his next release is Dhobi Ghat, which is directed by his wife Kiran Rao. The film will release in February 2011. A lot of buzz surrounds Aamir's next project. There were rumours about him playing the villain in Dhoom 3 and signing a Yash Raj film with Preity Zinta to be directed by Yash Chopra.

Confirming the news to a daily, Farhan says, "It feels great to be collaborating with Aamir a decade after Dil Chahta Hai. We had been hoping to do a film together since then. And I'm thrilled that it is finally happening with this script,"

However, Farhan will not direct the film. At the helm of affairs is Reema Kagti, director of Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. and Farhan will only produce the movie under his banner of Excel Entertainment.
