Hi Sameera,
I don't think I've had the chance to exchange responses with you, but welcome. And secondly, good post. I think this Naku thing, she being the "main"😕 character around this show was initially built, is a huge deal. Yes, characters get screwed up by CVs and networks, but I think we as viewers have the freedom to call them out on it.

I've copied your post and I'm adding my responses below.😃

Hello Guys 😊

First of all with due respect to everyones views😊, i seriously wanna ask why does everyone blame naku for hiding her color😡, i mean cant you see the fear that is there in her heart of loosing the love of the only man she loves with all her heart 😡. I SAW the fear in her heart, and if I were in a situation like that, I would have every reason to be scared. Her fear is justified with the kind of immature and unjustified reactions that gives every time he is an emotional turmoil her fear is obvious and justified. I'm not a huge believer or follower of letting others' "immature" or "unjustified" nature keep me from saying or doing what I feel is right. If I feel they are wrong, then why should I do things that are wrong too? Anyone in her shoes will be justified and no matter what love dutta croons for her the moment she tells her truth dutta will forget everything, her love, her sacrifices amnd will start blaming her without seeing reason. Of course, his initial reaction would be anger. The man has been destroyed by secrets that the women around him keep. And he should be mad! Why not? But I expect he will at some point realize what losing Naku altogether really means. i mean duttas sisters are well protected since he is Duttta Bhau , but who was there to protect her her bewda baap. or small brother. i know and agree she should tell the truth but how wen she knows wat reaction dutta will give. he is so stuck up in his color bias that he will not forgive her and iam sure will leave her or throw her out. He has the absolute right to throw her out, and I would understand if he did. I mean, everyone talks about putting themselves in Naku's shoes.

But what about Dutta? Let me ask whoever is reading this comment, would you be all understanding if the woman who knows the hard times you've had in the past with women telling lies and keeping secrets (and not just beauty per se), how it eats away at you to that very day, how you've given your love and total faith to her, how you think she is honest and innocent and give her respect, ONLY to have her LIE TO YOU? Naku should know this--that she is playing with ONE THING that is an Achilles Heel for him--truth and women. She's had MORE THAN ENOUGH TIME to think through this, to understand what she needs to do, YET SHE CHOOSES to stay quiet and let time or Bappa or God knows what reveal her secret. Many of you like to excuse that and say, oh, she is scared. I would be too. But I would not play the GAME that she is, and she is playing A GAME with someone's feelings...make no mistake about that.

Naku has always been so righteous about knowing the world, what people can be like, the life of hardness she has lived, YET she doesn't know what secrets can do, especially to the man she supposedly understands so well? Or that her fear is greater than that?

Yes, the CVs screwed up Naku. But I just can't ignore what has been shown over the past few months, and put my own spin on it with my imagination, and say what I'm seeing on screen is really not Naku. And then say, ok, poor thing. She's scared.

I agree with Sameera and Zahra...I too want Naku to reveal the truth. The best time is now. That doesnt mean that I feel disconnected from her if she doesnt reveal the truth. She is still young and she isnt receiving the best advice from her mother. On top of it even Dutta's best friend who knows him really well since childhood has stopped her from telling the truth. So I totally understand her not telling the truth.

@BOLD- I totally agree! 😃

Perhaps it is my years talking or my being brought up in America😆, but at some point, the mommy excuse loses its persuasive power. I'm a huge believer in the impact of our parents and the attachment we have to them, but I've always found it too convenient for Naku to all of a sudden drop everything in Mommy's lap.😆 And that Babi...oh let me count the ways...😡 Ma-beti can drive anyone crazy...no wonder Ganpat drinks so damn much....😆 kidding...
