A random fan fiction inspired by tzahra over a random conversation. Thank you Zahra for giving me a great concept and getting me started...

Concept:

Karan is shown as a rich rockstar, he has a social life, he knows what he wants, he's a bigtime flirt and basically...he's Karan Singh Grover, naam toh suna hi hoga.

Shilpa on the other hand is an orphan, she grew up in the Panchgani Orphanage and has remained there since, she now works there. She is your example of the seedhi saadhi indian girl.

Shilpa is organizing the Annual Panchgani Fundraising Concert...in which, you've guessed it, Karan will be performing...

Keep up with the story to see if opposites really do attract.

nice concept...............its really good to see still a lot of ff on KaSh/ArSh even though they are brutally thrashed now................

@Afrin, I'm still thinking up a continuation part for the other one so that's why its been put on hold for now but will definitely continue it.

Part 1

Shilpa sat in her office watching as the members organized the Annual Panchgani Orphanage Concert, this year would be quite different though, normally it was local performers, but not this year, this year it would be the one and only rockstar, well-known, Karan Singh Grover. She still had to find out what to organize for this "so called rockstar", she'd never dealt with anyone like him before, in fact Shilpa hadn't gone anywhere out of Panchgani ever in her life so planning this concert, meeting someone who was so different from her lifestyle was a definite experience. Shilpa called Karan's assistant to finalize Karan's living arrangements but received no reply, the other number she had was Karan's direct line...but did she really want to risk calling the rockstar himself, she wasn't sure if she had the courage to do that just yet and with that she put the phone back down and kept looking at Karan's business card.

Shilpa called Amrita her assistant to see if she could make the call to Karan, considering Shilpa's luck, the call of course rolled to voicemail, Shilpa didn't bother leaving a message. She walked out to the patio and looked up at the starry sky, she looked around at the green hills, the tall trees, the beautiful environment that she had grown up in, this would all change tomorrow night...tomorrow it would be limousines, camera flashes, the stage, the blaring speakers, the interviewers, the fans and whatnot, tomorrow this sincere and quite place would completely change, just because of one person, one person named Karan Singh Grover. Shilpa had no clue what he was or how he influenced others, but she definitely couldn't seem to care less of who he was, she just wanted this concert to be over with.

Shilpa paced back and forth on the patio just thinking to herself, this annual concert was one of the main fundraisers for the Panchgani Orphanage, they needed this but why was her heart still not focusing to the concert, she just wished the concert would be over and she wouldn't have to think about it, was it because of the fact that someone so big was coming or was it the fact that she was just getting over these annual traditions, whatever it was...she had to get her mind off of it.

She went back into her office and picked up the phone, she told herself that she wouldn't let her thoughts stop her and with that...she dialed the number to Karan Singh Grover's private line...

The dial tone seemed to be hazy as Shilpa dialed the number, Shilpa's heartbeat raced as the bell rang, what was she supposed to say if someone picked up, how was she supposed to talk to him, would he even pick up, would he listen or talk to her, would he want to talk, all these random thoughts ran through her head...but she waited for someone to pick up...
