just saw one of the promotional ads on tv and thought i would inform folks here.

sad that this forum this time is so dead and there are no spoilers etc but i guess it is understandable, there is not one singer who has that everlasting magic unlike saregamapa 2007!!

I do totally agree amukta. However even though they are all highly talented some star quality or something that elusive x-factor maybe or also the mentors being rather disappointing etc has indeed made a difference and the eagerness and level of impatience waiting for the next fri and sat is kind of missing. Sad but true.

If this gharana categorizing was not there and these judges would just be mentors for all teh contestants and there would be no voting nonsense , then this show would be so much more amazing . I still remeber how eagerly i would wait for TVS sare ga ma when Sonu nigam hosted it in 1995.

im a non indian who doesn't understand hindi at all but i fell in love with da amazin talent in 2007 prog and nobody can even match their magic at all....

from da new series i love kamal & suganda's voices.... but still no magic like in 2007 cz aneek ws super funny and awesome, amanat's fab voice, raja's amazin performances.... uffff they rock!!!
