Here's Part One:

At Khurana Constructions.

Adi walks into Maan's cabin only to find Maan sitting on his chair with his feet up on the desk, playing games on a computer, like a little kid. (Maan knows that he can be really comfortable and careless in his cabin because no one enters into his cabin without knocking first, except for Adi.) Even though Maan and Adi grew up together, Adi was always the responsible one and made sure that Maan stays out of trouble because of Maan's nature.

Adi: Maan, tumhe woh Sanjeevani Hospital ka Charity Dance Recital ki invitation mila?

Maan (while playing games on his computer): Yeah, dude'chill'I received it today. Not interested in some stupid dance circus.

Adi: Maan, this is an important event'and tum VIP guest ho.

Maan (whining): Do I have to go? Kitna boring hoga wahan!

Adi: Listen, agar tum nahin jaoge na, I will tell Dadi about this. Dadi tho har sal attend karthi hain. This year woh chahthi hain ki tum uske saath chalo. You recently joined Khurana Constructions, tho it's a good idea to get familiar with the social circle.

Maan is mimicking Adi saying, "blah blah blah" and rolling his eyes.

Maan: Adi, dude, tum tho jante ho, yaar, ki how much I hate attending these formal events. Old people honge waha -- no color what-so-ever.

Adi: Kisse patha, this event is hosted by YOUNG nurses and volunteer groups. (Winking) Ho saktha hain tumhe tumhara sacha pyaar mil jaye.

Hearing "young nurses" Maan's eyes pop out'

Maan: Adi, yaar, I guess you're right. It is for a good cause. Aur kya sacha, wacha pyaar you talkin' 'bout? Aisa kuch nahi hota hai. Love just comes and goes; nothing is real when it comes to love. Sirf attraction hota hain.

Adi (ignoring the sacha pyaar comment): Alright fine. It's decided. Saturday is the event.

Maan: Yea, yea, I got it'Saturday.

They're interrupted when someone knocks on Maan's door. Maan straightened himself up and pretended to be busy'

Maan (clears his throat and says with a serious expression): Come in!

It was one of the employees.

Employee: Sorry to interrupt, sir, but, iss file mein aapka signature chahiye tha.

Maan: Sure, gorgeous.

Adi rolls his eyes' She comes in and stands next to Adi, handing the file to Maan.

Maan (walks towards the employee trying to get close to her): Can you show me where I need to sign?

The employee puts the file down on the desk and points to where Maan has to sign.

Employee: Right here, sir.

Maan (after signing the document): Here you go.

Employee: Thank you, sir. Ab mein chalthi hoon.

Maan (in a flirty manner with one eyebrow raised): Aur kuch sign karna hain mujhe?

Employee (smiling): No sir'

As she starts to leave the cabin, Maan says something to her.

Maan: By the way, you look very nice today.

Employee (feeling shy): Thank you, sir.

And she leaves the cabin.

Adi: Tum kabhi nahi sutroge. Kam se kam office mein flirt mat karo, yaar.

Maan: What, I just gave her a compliment. Mein flirt nahi kar raha tha.

Adi: Anyway, chodo. I'm going now aur haan, bulna mat. Saturday. Charity show!

Maan (sarcastically): Yeah, yeah. Thanks, yaar, you are such a great friend.

Adi leaves smiling.

After work Maan arrives home. He's really tired after a long day at work, so he starts walking up the stairs towards his bedroom to get some rest when his dadima calls him.

Dadima: Maan, kahan jaa rahe hain aap? Niche ao aur humare saath dinner karo. Hum aap hi ka intezar kar rahe the.

Maan really wasn't in the mood for dinner, but he also didn't want to hurt his dadima's feelings, so he starts walking down towards the dining table. Maan really loves his Dadima. She is the world to him.

At the dining table.

Dadima: Maan, tumne woh Sanjeevani Hospital mein hone wala Charity Dance Recital ke bare mein suna?

Maan: Ji, Dadima. Adi se mera baat hui thi office mein.

Dadima: Good, toh tumhara decision kya hain, beta?

Maan: Mein bhi aaraha hoon aapke saat.

Dadima: Aaraha hoon nahi. Jaarahe ho.

Maan: Matlab?

Dadima: Maan, iis saal hum nahi ja payenge. Isiliye tho hum tumhe bejhrahe hain.

Hearing this Maan stops eating and stares at Dadima.

Maan: Dadima, me? Alone? No way! (And he starts shaking his head.)

Dadima: Tumhe jaana hoga, Maan. Aur kisne kahan ki tum akele jaoge? Tum Adi ko saat mein legao. Waise bhi, aap bache nahi hain ab. I'm sure tum apne aap handle kar sakthe ho.

Maan (annoyed): I know, Dadima. But kya yeh sab zaroori hain? I mean is it important to go there? It's just a dance show. Aur woh bhi...classical! Yuck! (He makes a gaging reflex.)

Dadima (giving him a cold stare): Maan, tumhe patah hain hum iis charity events ko har saal attend karthe hain. As a chief guest. Socho log kya kahenge agar humara khandan se iis saal koi nahi gaya tho. Maine aapse pehli baar kuch pooch rahi hoon. Aur aap complaint kar rahe ho?

Maan: Alright, Dadima. Please don't get senti now. I'll go, Adi ke saath. Okay?

Dadi smiles to herself and is happy that Maan agreed. Soon they finish their dinner and head off to bed.
