Pratigya walks into the bed room hesitantly and her eyes searching for the oasis in the desert ....and Krishna is hiding behind the door planning to surprise her ..Pratigya walks into the middle of the room , her mind consumed by the thoughts of breaking and making them understand and accept this not so palatable news to the Thakurs * it will be like expecting a vicious and angry Cobra to voluntarily agree to give up its fangs * ..Krishna shuts a door comes behind Pratigya and embraces her ..and ruffling her hair with his face ..Krishna in a tone of nectar and honey oozes seduction,"Hey Pratigya , where were u ..I have been waiting from such a long time " * eeliyo woh kya ekko din mein duniya sair kardegi..she went to her world ,breathed the stagnant air ,,having had her fill she came back to ur volatile world *..A weary and dispirited Pratigya remembers to inquire whether Krishna had her food..Krishna is surprised, turns her to face him and says "U are one remarkable Gal, I cant even take a breath without u and u are asking whether I had food "..realizing that her hubby is starved , she starts or at least tries to deliver a homily, but her heart is not in it * No Crowd*..She asks again "why didn't u?"..and breaks off without completing her statement ...Krishna says"What ??{Pratigya shakes her head indicating Nothing]..Why?? What happened ..Aren't u in the mood to give a lecture *Krishna understands her very well*I've become used to ur lectures and gives an amused and loving smile..not able to tease out a answering smile ..Krishna senses that something is amiss and in a changed tone filled with concern and fully serious , he enquires,"What happened ?Anything the matter?" [Pratigya keeps negating ]..finally in low spirit and in low tone says "Nothing"..Pratigya shuffles slowly to the bed , a picture of abject dejection..Krishna looks on in puzzlement , utterly convinced that something is wrong ..he goes and sits by Pratigya ,"U are one unique lady,u are sitting here looking a wilted flower, and u are saying nothing is the matter, tell me whats the matter "....If u dont tell ur husband..will u go and tell the neighbor[gently holding her chin]..why are u sitting here looking so worried" He coaxes and persuades her to reveal the closely guarded secret ..faced with this barrage, Pratigya weakens and opens her shell to disburse the pearls"Krishna [she begins haltingly and stutters to a stop]..Krishna holds her hand and tries to re establish the talk time connection, he settles on simple flattery"when u are out of mood even the good things appear bad and when u are happy even the bad things look good" * Ya , Right,,, And we have heard this one before..try something else* hey Babu ! Tell me whats eating u up "..Obviously Pratigya succumbs to this concerted sweetness and again begins in a faltering voice "Krishna , Aman's father has put a condition for the smooth proceeding of Aarushi's marriage" Krishna confused,"Condition, what sort of condition?" ...Pratigya stumbles and is unable to expand ....Impulsive Krishna as usual jumps to the wrong conclusion "Whoa !! Now I understand ...Now I understand why that IG was creating a ruckus during the engagement ceremony [Pratigya looks on ,incomprehension writ large on her face] That bugger's integrity has taken a beating ain't it , he must have seen that Prof. relation ship is with rich ppl like SS, so must have decided to demand some booty..he is one helluva clever guy..he is asking for dowry, isn't it..how much is he demanding"..Pratigya immediately dispels this delusion"No Krishna it is not that"Krishna exasperated"Then whats the matter??just what did he say,why aren't u articulating? Tell me ?"..Pratigya looking very worried and a touch scared gets up and without looking at him vocalizes "Krishna, Aarushi's fiancee's family has said that Papa shud not invite us for the wedding " having lit the fuse Pratigya looks away in discomfort..Krishna is uncomprehending but realization is sinking in and anger is building up...
The reality of the other person lies not in what he reveals to you but in what he cannot reveal to you. Therefore, if you want to understand him, listen not to what he says but to what he does not say
Krishna seeks confirmation and clarification" What did u mean by saying dont invite for marriage?"..just be clear on what u are trying to say" ..A visibly discomposed Pratigya clarifies , unaware of the furious rage building up so close to her...Krishna whirls her to face him and grits through a clenched teeth "How dare that two penny police say that, That 🤬 doesn't know any one and he dared to say this about my father"..Pratigya tries to pacify him ..but Krishna will not be pacified ..roiling he shoves off Pratigya ...with blazing eyes ,Krishna explodes" whatever the IG said it , let it be ..how dare u listened to that quietly [with out a protest ] and dared to inform me of this insult , Why are we lepers, untouchables [Pulling her towards hi in blind anger] Hey Pratigya , I love u, have married u in front of everyone, have not stolen or eloped , I have not sold myself, so that u and ur families can humiliate and insult my family..we have respected u ..and ur pop has got so much of bravado that he thinks of not inviting us to the marriage ..I have put up with ur humiliation, I have been very patient and understanding of the treatment meted out , but enough ...My patience has run itself out ..my understanding wears thin ...I can do anything ...[with sinister emphasis] anything.." Pratigya looks shocked confronting an hostile Krishna ..

So finally what Pratigya feared has begun to happen .....I am very surprised at the Sax's ...How do they expect to maintain the balance between two daughter .. in future, IF the IG forbids any form of relationship between Thakurs and Sax's ..will they oblige [ having a daughter at Thakurs and a daughter in law here ] ...what if there were occasions when both the houses have to participate ...IMO..The sax's have rushed in without factoring in all the consequences ...And there will be many unpleasant moments in the future...
Krishna has finally burst out ...He has had enough of the vacillating Saxena's and finally given tongue to his thoughts ..All the pent up fury, perceived insults has been brought to the consternation of Pratigya.will pratigya heed it and take some corrective action ..
He been a blind acolyte of Pratigya, has defended her and supported her in all her fights ..but y'day we saw a son fighting for his father's pride ...
It has been said that Krishna has handled Pratigya roughly ...when u consider Krishna as a normal, sane man , the everyday man..then obviously Krishna has been rough with Pratigya , no two words about it ..but when u remember the character sketch of Krishna, He is a guy who has been brought up firmly believing that might is right, a guy who relishes physical fights , A guy who beat up a goon for daring to tease his SIL ...expressing his emotions physically is as natural as fish swimming in water ..So when he understood that his father, a father whom he adores and reveres and loves , was slighted at the behest of a new comer ...it would be natural for him to react explosively ...this is what he did y'day ..it has been said that he grabbed her,held her roughly...if u had watched closely thats what he has been doing ever since they have become a couple..sometimes in love , sometimes in jest and y'day in anger.. he has even shoved her before ...in other words he has been physical with Pratigya all the while, nobody raised a hue n cry ..The aberrant y'day was the anger .....it may have escaped the notice of viewers that Physical-ness was always part of Kriya . ..If it was Adarsh or Aman ..it would have been an unequivocal DV
Y'day was a good one ...we saw the eternal evasdropper Kesar's face lighting up with a wild hope when she hears that remarriage will be tad difficult ...Will the butterfly finally spread her wings ..will she get the courage to fight now that she knows that there is another strong man able to trounce her FIL
The sequence where Pratigya walks AWAY from her father and walks alone was good..she is moving away from her fathers shadow and becoming her own woman and her journey now takes her out of the cradle .....
Pratigya is caught between the devil and deep sea ...on the one hand she is trying her utmost to be a dutiful daughter and on the other she is trying to be a conscientious wife ...unfortunately such things cannot continue for long ..A choice has to be made ..
