Okay so I haven't seen this show since the first episode but I watched today's episode. Anyways, I watched it and there were only 2 things that stuck with me (none of which are positive):
1. Abhay aka Vivian was quite stoic in the Romeo and Juliet scene.
2. The show is mocking itself by trying too hard to show the supernatural theme especially in that last scene.
Point 1: I admit I have only seen 2 episodes of this show, and so my judgment may not be the best one around. But still I think Vivian needs to improve on his acting...I found it quite stoic, dry and very emotionless in that Romeo and Juliet scene. I don't find tv actors to be really good actors, but still I think his acting in that scene was quite lacking of emotions and expressions. I didn't mind his acting that much in his other scene but still for the show and the Abhay-Pia pair's success, I think Vivian needs to improve his acting skills.
Point 2: Okay we get that the show has a supernatural theme but do they have to try such childish and stereotypical methods to show that? Smoke, lenses, black wardrobe for everyone, and black upholstery! And I haven't even seen most of the aired episodes so far, so I don't even know what else they have shown. Overall, I found the last scene quite laughable and very tacky. I wish they would have handled the supernatural element in a better manner but I didn't expect that.
All in all, Vivian needs to improve on his skills and the CVs need to handle the supernatural element in a more tasteful and mature manner. That last scene looked more like an elementary kid's representation than a team of mature adults who are supposedly 'creative'. Lol it was anything but creative. On second thought, if the purpose of that scene was to make us laugh, then well done :)
