B-Town on Karva Chauth

Eesha Koppikhar:- " This is my first Karva Chauth and my sasu ma is helping me a lot. I was always excited about this tradition. Day before yesterday I applied mehendi and the colour came really well. I accompanied my mom-in-law to a friend's house to observe how Karva Chauth is celebrated. They sat in circles and observed how they gave the plates. I was also enlightened about the significance of this auspicious festival. Eesha means Parvati and I feel great about it, Eesha means the one who loves and protects, so I don't mind fasting and I enjoyed the festival."

Raveena Tandon:- " I have seen my mom fasting and I know the rules. I think it's one of the auspicious festivals where a woman keeps a fast for her husband. And we are celebrating it so that the party does not allow us to feel hungry."

Shilpa Shetty:- "This is my 1st Karva Chauth, I crave for water more than food. I celebrated Karva Chauth with my friend's at my place and it was indeed a learning experience. It is always better with more starving friends. I am a south Indian married to a Punjabi, so all this is so new to me but my hubby was fasting too to give me company. That was sweet!"

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan:- Though we didn't get in touch with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan but a Karva Chauth party was organized at the Bachchan's place. Both Ash and Abhishek fasted, as Abhishek wrote on twitter, "How do these girls do it???? GET ME SOME FOOD!!!!".
