SS lays the details of the accident that he has gleamed from Jai Mathur before IG Dayal Mathur. He brags about how he got the young lad to cough up the whole story with just a few words of love, something that could get even the worst of the human race to spill their guts. Jai had been driving an aluminum colored car (never knew there was a color "aluminum"😲😆)and wearing jewelry like ladies, a special fancy bracelet that Adarsh recognized. Jai had caused the accident that caused a lot of pain to Adarsh and Komal. Jai is but a young kid, so given that they were all related now it was time to let the water flow under the bridge. We are now related, so let's forget the whole incident". Then he gets to the real reason for his visit and generosity of spirit in sharing the information he has garnered all with self-interest at the heart of it. He makes his little request'."please toss the cases against me and KN. I know you are a man of law and order, if you say the word, they can't touch us". SS then dishes out a veiled threat "take your time and think about this, after all it's the matter of your youngest son's life." Dayal Mathur seems to have made up his mind. The likes of SS were not going to interfere in his commitment to executing his duty with honesty and integrity.
Dayal Mathur silently sits through SS's monologue letting him lay out all the evidence he has at his disposal. Like a master poker player, Dayal Mathur drawing on his years of experience sized up Takur Sajjan Singh, his city's biggest criminal, Whatever happened to the real Sajjan Singh, a crafty, astute politician who reminded us of Saguni, uncle of Duruyodana from Mahabaratha, who knew how to play the game like a seasoned pro? The man we see today is not the babbar sher of his animal kingdom. He once told Krishna that men should fear when they hear his name. We question if he carries that level of respect and clout in his community anymore. Even his sons no longer fear him like they used to. Both Krishna and KN have shamed him for his choices with their tirade, a trend set by the Queen of Mean in recent times. He has taken his eyes off the ball with multiple distractions. What happened to the elections? His attention has been diluted and fragmented focusing on the agenda directed by his dharma patni Takurain, the Queen of Mean. Since when did extending his criminal activities into the household become top priority? Killing an innocent unborn baby, attempts to kill Prats, KN's bigamy plans are the priority these days. Never did we think that we'd see the day that SS would go begging to an IG of all people to sweep all his legal problems under the rug. The way he took leave of the IG was pathetic and that of a powerless man not the one who has been king of the jungle for years. The very police force who did his bidding were now standing up and blocking his entry into IG's office. What crimes has SS committed besides a murder 17 years ago that he now frets about and bent on getting the cases quashed? As for Mathur, after all the years he has dedicated to his entire career and earning the title Duty Diwakar at the expense of his family's needs he is not going to let it all go for naught. SS may have misjudged this IG, a different kind of player than the ones he's been used to over the years.
Krishna meets Tunna and Chandu while Prats is at her maike and discusses his attire for his saali sahiba's wedding. He even tells them to get all suited up for the wedding. Little does he know that he is not on the invitation list to this wedding. Baba is going to be one disappointed dude when he hears about it and as usual Prats will be on the receiving end of his angry outburst. Wonder how long this temper tantrum will last. Is Prats going to give him a time out this time around? Maybe that is why we have heard all those references to Bola Baba, Shankar Mahadev in recent days.SS returns to the Niwas and breaks into song pre-emptively celebrating his victory of burying the cases against him and KN after his talk with the IG. I bet no one told him "don't count your chicken before they are hatched". RED are pleased at the thought of Lady Fortune smiling upon them.
Prats shows up unexpectedly at the Saxes which sends Prof. and family into pareshaan mode. What a lot of wasted airtime in today's episode at the Saxes! Prats explains to them the reason for her sudden arrival "whatever bauji did at the engagement y'day he shouldn't have done it. I know you'd all be very worried so I beg your forgiveness on behalf of my sasural". Is she for real? What's with the formality like she was talking to a family of strangers? It's your maike for goodness sakes girl. Imagine living with this level of formality day in and day out. Prof. tells her the hungama is best forgotten. Prats is happy that inspite of all the diraama Arushi is engaged. No surprises here Prats. This is the trend at your maike. There has to be hungama and diraama galore to bless the event. Did you already forget the ruckus at your engagement to Nitin courtesy of the man you eventually married? Not to mention plenty more notanki that followed before you proposed to Krishna and the rest as they say is history.
BTW, why haven't the Saxes once inquired about why Krishna didn't come in with her? Oh yeah! Why should they, they don't care much for him and it's all well and good if it's just Prats as far as they are concerned. Prats is all excited about helping with wedding arrangements. She seems the only one happy about it. The rest of them have leaking tear ducts as usual. For a bride to be, Arushi looks like she has been given a life sentence behind bars. As usual Prats is oblivious to the emotional cues from the ladies in the room. Arushi and Dadi are crying and Nainaji is about to start her crying spell as well. Prats thinks they are crying bec' Dadi would missArushi. Now talk about hitting the ball into foul territory. Adarsh was always Dadi's favorite not Arushi. Waise bhi, was this the moment to plant the seed in our minds for a future track? Prats asks Arushi to promise she will come by to see Dadi every week, which hints at Arushi being under house arrest at Mathurs in the future. Her days however few at her maike are going to be her best days for a long time to come. We can be sure there will be hungama, diraaama, and a whole lot more on her wedding day.
Hurricane Komal blows into the living room at the Sax house. She is upset at all the talk of marriage in the house and declares she has no hopes for this wedding. She points the finger at her sasural, who have until now kept Prats in the dark about the condition for the marriage laid down by Dayal Mathur. After a lot of coaxing Prof.tearfully reveals that IG was angry at the hungama at the engagement and doesn't want a repeat performance at the wedding. His condition for this wedding is that no member of the SS family should attend this marriage. Prats is shocked. Arushi says she doesn't want to get married if Prats can't come to her wedding. Were we right or what? We knew there was no love shove between Arushi and Aman and it was quite evident in her statement. She is ready to call off the wedding bec' Prats can't attend her wedding? What a bunch of bakwas! What if Prats was attending KN's wedding elsewhere or in a family situation that made it impossible for her to attend, would Arushi have got off the mandap and dumped Aman unceremoniously in front of the society they value so much? Goes to show how little she values the marriage she signed up for with a ring and all. Is she even ready for marriage with this mindset? Prats tearfully tells Arushi there is still time and things will be fine by the time the wedding rolls around.
Komal is not happy watching Prats comforting Arushi. After all once a Takur always a Takur! She loudly berates her sasural "my father has been humiliated by this family and told not to attend the wedding and you people want to have a relationship with that time. So go ahead, I'll see how this marriage takes place". Having thrown the gauntlet she leaves the room leaving the Saxes glancing with each other helplessly. Adarsh babu, what have you done? You have brought a Takur Terror into the family and there will never ever be respite for any of you with Komal in it if she doesn't mend her ways soon enough. She is a happy blend of TSS and SDS, both masters at terrorizing the people around them. She is like her parents single- handedly terrorizing you all and it's time for you to put your foot down. She seems to respond to the way you handle her the best. She wants your attention and you are waiting for her to change first. Ain't going to happen your way. You give her the attention and your chances are suddenly looking much better. Your marriage has not got off the ground. We doubt you love her, you seem to indulge her when she is in a good mood. But for how long will you keep up this game? She may be young, but she is not dumb by any means. She like Arushi and Krishna has a lot of growing up to do. Komal told Adarsh she was falling in love with him at the hospital and wouldn't yell at him ever again. Yet we've seen she has broken the Takur code of keeping her word and yelled at him plenty in recent days.
The phone rings at Sax residence. Komal is informed by the police officer on the phone that the person responsible for hitting Adarsh has been apprehended and is being held in jail. The Sax family rushes to the police station. When they get there they are shocked to see that it's teen brat Jai Mathur. Adarsh has a clue who it is but is reluctant as he knows it will affect his sister Arushi's wedding. The entire family watches in shock as Jai turns around in his jail cell, while he sees them briefly and looks away in shame.
Preview: Komal removes her joota and hits Jai Mathur in the face on the first try. Prof. and Adarsh call out and try to stop Komal as Krishna saunters into the police station looking for Prats. Dadi and Arushi must have told them where the rest of the family was. Komal is one frustrated woman who has secrets of her own. She is no angel, never was. Over the months she is has been so volatile swinging like a pendulum that one could ask if she has a split personality disorder. How can the Saxes feel safe with her in their shanti-loving midst every day of their lives. It's time for Komal to take a chill up and grow up fast if she has any hopes to make her marriage with Adarsh get off the ground and work.👏😃Please add your thoughts and comments!😃👏
