From the point when the winners from UAE and UK arrived in Mumbai on 22 March morning, STAR News team was at the airport to receive the winners and also capture their excitement of coming to Mumbai to attend the Awards.

Post lunch, each winner was interviewed by STAR News, and winners shared with STAR News their excitement of being selected to watch STAR Parivaar Awards. The winners were also in for a surprise, when their favourite actresses called them to welcome them to Mumbai. The excitement of the winners knew no bound when the leading women - Parvati, Prerna and Mohini spoke to the lucky winners.

The winners then had just enough time to get a make-over. Their trip to the beauty parlour was also covered on STAR News, where the winners spoke about the fashion trends inspired from television. Post the make-over, winners were all ready once again to meet actor and anchor – Shweta Keswani, who interviewed all of them for the popular STAR Plus show Pardey Ke Peechey.

Our lucky stars then met the entire STAR Parivaar on the Red Carpet. Shweta, introduced all the stars to the winners, who posed questions to the STAR Parivaar nominees. Stars gave personalized autographs and even posed for pictures with the winners.

The lucky winners were also interviewed by Indian Press. Dainik Bhaskar, Hindustan Times and The Pioneer posed questions to the lucky winners about their experience of being in Mumbai and attending the STAR Parivaar Awards.

Day 2: Celebrating Tulsi's Birthday

The day was lots more eventful when the winners got to spend an entire day on the set of India's longest running and the most successful show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. The day was even more special as it was the birthday of India's most popular television star Smriti Irani, who plays the protagonist Tulsi in the same show.

The winners got to celebrate Smriti's birthday, they even brought a cake for Smrithi to cut. And as a return gesture, Smriti treated them to a chinese lunch post the celebrations. The Virani parivaar bahus then showed the winners the entire Kyunki... set and also introduced the winners to other Kyunki... members like Baa and Gautam.

The entire set visit experience was also captured by STAR Plus and STAR News. STAR News will air the STAR Parivaar International winners Special on their most successful afternoon show – Saas Bahu Aur Saazish on Saturday, 25 March at 2.30 PM (IST).

STAR Plus will also air the winners attending the STAR Parivaar Awards and the set visit in the popular show Pardey Ke Peechey on 8 April at 7.30 PM (IST).
