no sides for me. just a bag of popcorn and watch the tamasha. somehow, though, i feel SS will always come out trumps. the old devil.

gawker!

I agree It's more fun watching the tamaasha, like I am at Wimbledon or US Open. Jut when you think Takurs are beaten down, they rise like a Phoenix only to crash and burn when they get cocky. I for one am curious about the dsyfunctional Mathurs, they have a lot of secrets and humble pies waiting to be served.

It's fascinating to ask "who is the wackiest of them all for the moment?"/ It's like they are playing musical chairs on to be crowned "whacky one " for the day.

This time, i would take the thakur's side. Even though what SS said was wrong, IG shouldnt have insulted him infront of every one. As part of the police system, every officer is taught to have patience with criminals. Especially those who are as high ranking as Mathur. He dragged professionalism into familiy and relationships and made sour pudding out of it. Even when his wife requested him to not do anything, He went against her wishes. What Mathur doesnt understand is that the insult he gave SS and Thakur parivaar, will affect the treatment pratigya is given. Because all of this happened in her maika familys presence and they did nothing to stop it.

Thakur may have committed many crimes, but that doesnt mean that he should be insulted at a family function. no matter who the person is. When SS said the bribe thing, mathur could have easily said that they would discuss this later, and then at the end of the party, he could have easily insult or put SS in his place.

So sorry folks im taking Thakurs side. And pratigya should as well. Not because theyre her in laws, but because of the treatment they recieved at her sisters engagement. no matter what caused it.

Also because krishna is on that side (awaaz lagai: KRISHNA MERI JAAN, MAIN ARI HOON)

sorry for the crappy hindi. lol

i respect your opinion to take takur's side since it is a drama- but are you really suggesting that SS should not be insulted even though he has committed grave crimes? now, the criminals have the same reputation as anyone who lives by the law? yes, jai has committed crime as well, but the IG is not aware of it. even if we consider that all the crimes are alleged (just as krishna seems to think) we cannot ignore that SS was bribing and intimidating an officer of the law. and SS's single act of inviting a dancer to an ordinary professor's daughter's engagement is worth looking down upon lest all the other acts that the rest of Saxena family and viewers are aware of.

For me its no contest. If papa Mathur was truly committed to law and order he would realize that a man is innocent until proven guilty and SS's presence at the party (as oppose to in jail) is an indicator that no conviction has been made against him.

Putting conditions on a marriage is always a touchy subject - particularly repulsive if the conditions are no way related to the character of future DIL. Saying that the Singh family not be in attendance - knowing the bride's only sister is a Singh is insane. Really there are those out there supporting a banning of Prats from her sister's wedding. Papa Sax sitting back and accepting this insult on both his daughter and his daughter in law and thinking it worth considering his elder daughter's family not being invited to his remaining daughter's wedding is appalling. Arushi accepting this is also troublesome - particularly after all Krishna has done for her personally and since Prats original intention in marrying Krishna (other than her marriage of revenge motive) was to ensure Arushi's marriage prospects were not limited.

I am with Komol on this one!!

According to me SS was wrong, he tried taking advantage of the IG Mathur wherein he didnt succeed & ofcourse he is a criminal afterall. But I didnt like the marriage condition put forth by Mathur & he doesnt care whether he's son's marriage takes place or not, this is too much!

I agree with your opinion, but you cannot ignore the fact that the whole fiasco was blown out of the bag. I Agree, IG has the right to be mad. But you cannot ignore the fact that although it was meant for alternative means, SS did try to liven the party. And although, IG's anger is justified, that doesnt mean that he should insult SS infront of everyone and ruin his sons engagement. IG could have easily told SS to meet him after the engagement, where they could insult eachother to no end ALONE!!! SS would eagerly agreed to do that. Thats where i think that IG was wrong, and also when he completely disregarded Pratigya's part in Thakur Parivaar and made that shart.

SS has commmitted crimes but he didnt bring crime into the engagement. All he did was was bribe and bring a dancer. the only thing that should be looked down upon was the bribing, NOT the dancing. Even ordinary engagements have dancers. There's nothing wrong with dancing unless your completely grinding the man infront of you (LOL).... Im just saying that even though he did commit bribery, it doesnt mean that he should be insulted infront of his family and relatives including other people. There is a time and place for everything. And what IG did was not in a good time nor place REGARDLESS of SS's Actions.
