Confused about Bhouji's attitude

I'm not sure where bhouji's coming from.
Is she reacting like a possessive 'mother' or a scorned woman? Her excessive reaction seems to indicate the latter especially when she reacts jealously to Avita's handholding and long, loving looks.

BTW, the actress (bhouji) is amazing. I can't remember her name....she's a Bengali and is married to KK Menon who is a Bollywood actor.

the actress playing bauji is nivedita bhattacharya

ya she is k k menon wife

she is very good at this role


and why is she like that

we are all intrigued by this character and there is more to her than meets the eye


it cud be combo of lots of things

she has raised avdesh from his teens to be rough and tough and she is tough enough that ppl in lallanpur are scared of her

she is like mini mafia don
and has avdesh to her bidding..

possesive or what cant say as yet bt going by past few episodes she is not liking anyone else taking importance in avdesh life

so she is trying to make life miserable as of now

though the story of bauji cud turn differnt later
bt as of now we just hate the character
