This is raag hamsdhwani in the song by A R Rahman. Listen to stunning taan,. in the interlude.

Just like raag Bhupali , hamsdhwani is blessed to blend with Western music, power grooves can be made on this raag..! And we have experimented.

A R Rahman has used it very well in back ground score of Dil se, any one remembers the hmming when the marriage of SRK is being organised, now listen again with Hamsdhwani in mind.
