i am sure archana will marry jaywant

One thing is for sure in my mind though, even if Archu doesn't get married to Jaywant, Manav is still going to marry Shravani.

I have missed a number of episodes (on tv and written updates in the last 3 months so i don't really feel qualified to give a proper opinion BUT... what the hell, i am going to say my piece anyway.

I feel sick, really SICK to think that Archana will consumate her marraige with Jaywant. I am actually ok if Archana moves on with her life (not that i don't support ARchana and Manav - I DO) and marries Jaywant - provided she does it willingly and not as a self-sacrificing animal. If she is able to accept that life has changed, has paid a cruel trick on her by separating her from Manav, and moves on and starts afresh with Jaywant - that is fine. She may still love Manav deep in the recesses of her soul but because their partnership is not to be, she starts afresh - i am ok with that - it is sensible and accepting that one cannot always have all that one wants. She puts Manav aside and lives a fresh life with Jaywant and gives all the love that she has to making this second marriage a success - i think i can accept this. This is reality, it happens to many people. I would in fact applaud her - because of her love for her family, her love for Manav and her love for herself - to make her future a happy place for all.

What i take offence with Archana is that she does not leave Manav alone - she is always there, supposedly for him. Although her mouth says she wants Manav to be happy, she wants Manav to marry whateverhernameis, do you realise that she never leaves him alone. True she left for one year and became educated and improved her lot but after she returned - its back to square 1. She does not always have to be there for him, she can always support him without him knowing she is there to help - but no - she is there front and centre every time something happens. Then when things happened in a way that would allow her to marry Manav (i believe whatshername sort of decided to leave or something like that) she rejected him again. Fine - she wants Manav to keep his word and marry whatshername - fine - then get the hell out of there Archana - you say one thing but does another.

I also take offence (and I believe this is because it is an EktaKapoor thing - a woman thing) - er, i am a woman by the way - i take offence that they educated Archana so that she could make a good life for herself (woman empowerment and all that) but why did they leave Manav uneducated - why did they slant the show such that they educate the woman but not the man or give him a fighting chance by going for skills training - we (the women i mean) talk of equality of man and woman but actually i find most times, they talk of superiority of women....

I want Archana and Manav to get married - i don't see why they are not - they obviously love each other and EVERYBODY KNOW including Jaywant and his parents - EVERYONE KNOWS ARCHANA LOVES MANAV and yet they allow this injustice to happen - SIGH ...

i think my post is too long and i better stop although i have lots more to say.
