Behenein October 21st Written Update
Everyone enters the courtroom and all the women sit down, and Mihir Karan and Bhavesh are standing to the side discussing something. They see that the lawyer for Shamal is Kshitij and Bhavesh says that he's looking really calm and relaxed, like he has some major proof and will win. Mihir tells Bhavesh not to worry, that in court justice will be served, and the truth will win. Kshitij is sitting and thinking Today, I will win against Akaashi. My Akaashi will once again be mine. He turns around and looks into the stands and doesn't see Akaashi and wonders where she is.
Akaashi is standing outside of the courtroom, crying as she thinks about all the good times she had with Shamal, and right then the police van pulls up and Shamal is walking inside. He looks at her and she smiles for him, but he says that he feels that something won't be right today. Akaashi tells him not to worry and that they will surely win. Shamal becomes a lot more confident and smiles and goes inside.
Gomti Aunty And Rashmi are sitting inside wondering where Akaashi is when Shamal walks into the courtroom. Gomti Aunty walks to him and tells him that everything will be fine, Akaashi has worked really hard. Shamal goes and stands in the little podium thing on the side, and the judge calls order in the court. The judge asks Kshitij (the defense) whether they have the proof that they needed and Kshitij nods. He turns around and Akaashi walks inside the courtroom, and both Shamal and Kshitij watch her intently until she sits down. Once she sits, Kshitij gets up and starts talking.
Kshitij asks for permission for other people to be questioned and the Judge says granted. Kshitij calls up the doctor in the lab that got Jigna's post-mortem reports, Dr. Shetty. Karan meanwhile is looking really nervous during the proceedings. The Doctor comes up and takes the oath to tell the truth, and Kshitij asks him if he was the one that made the reports and gave him the copy and the Dr says yes. Kshitij then brings up a copy of the reports and asks the Dr. if this was it, and when the doctor says yes, Kshitij gives a copy of these reports to Mihir and the Judge.
Mihir looks at the reports and notices the differences and yells out that these reports are false, and the post mortem reports clearly stated that her death was a hit and run case. Dr. Shetty says that the reports Kshitij gave are the correct ones, and Kshitij tells everyone that someone tried to implicate Shamal in the case and sent false reports. Karan looks extremely mad and nervous sitting in the stands. The Judge asks the Doctor is this is true again, and the Dr looks down in shame and says that yes, he's really ashamed that when someone offered him money to change the reports he did so. Mihir yells out that all this is a lie, but the Judge tells him to remain quiet, and the Doctor says that he's ashamed but he became blinded by money. Mihir once again screams that the doctor is lying and Mihir yells how are you sure the doctor is telling the truth and Kshitij yells back furiously how are you sure Karan is saying the truth. Why would Karan lie and Kshitij asks Why would the Doctor Lie?! And both of them have an intense staring session, while Karan sits in the back, looking extremely uncomfortable.
Kshitij says that according to the reports, Jigna was under the influence of drugs and was not really aware of herself, and in this she had an accident with Shamal and that's why he should be freed. Bhavesh yells out that his sister could never do that and gets up and Mihir makes him sit down and apologize.
The judge says that now the case has changed, and that it's true that Shamaldas had an accident yes, but it doesn't prove that he killed her knowingly. Because Jigna was under the influence of drugs, the situation changes and the police should reinvestiage the case with the new circumstances in mind. And with this reasoning, because there is no proof against Shamal, he will be freed. Everyone is really happy, tears of joy, etc, while Karan just looks like a nervous wreck.
Mihir Bhavesh and Karan are standing, and Mihir screams out fake post mortem reports?! AnMihir says it's clear that someone gave Jigna the drugs and then left her on the bridge, and so she could hit a car and die. It's just Shamal's bad luck that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but the question is who is Jigna's enemy?
Then they show the actuality of what happened in the car that night with Karan and Jigna. Jigna is heavily under the influence of drugs, not even aware of her surroundings and Karan is driving the car, saying that her coming there ruined everything. He then stops the car on the side and takes her outside and pushes her in front of the next car, after which she hits it and goes flying somewhere else. Shamal gets out of that car and looks around but doesn't see anything.
Mihir tells Bhavesh that they'll definitely find Jigna's killer and punish him properly
Outside Shamal is talking happily with his family and Kshitij comes and they all thank him. Kshitij and AKaashi look at each other. The Mihir comes up and tells Shamal he misunderstood him and he's sorry, and SHamal says its ok. Purva invites SHamal to their house for the aarti later and Shamal agrees after Akaashi says yes.
Purva sees that Akaashi doesn't look like herself, she looks all nervous and frantic, and asks her if everything is ok, and Akaashi smiles nervously, saying everything is fine.
Precap: Shamal tells Akaashi to come soon after she prays and Akaashi agrees. Then she goes into a suitcase and takes out a little bottle (which I'm assuming is like poison or something)
