I dunno.....I have a bad feeling about this unless we are shown a scene soon enough about what Roops thinks of this situation in solitude....not what she's talking with her sisters or saying to Baaji.

I get the feeling that Leela herself isn't too loyal to Kala...Kala leaving the house didn't grieve her too much, her first instinct was to safeguard her position and she was just relieved that they got out of it unscathed. Later she said that they should focus on their own 'bhala'...she also told Roops on at least two different occasions which I can recall that she is a "bachi" who doesn't understand stuff so it doesn't seem like Leela took those words too seriously...and even when she did say for a moment that Roops seems 'badli hui si,' Roops covered up fast by saying she hasn't changed so Leela wouldn't have read too much into her words.

The drama in front of AS and Nakku...Baaji wasn't present there so I don't see why she would need to put up such a tearful performance when he wasn't witnessing it. I can still see this one having some ulterior motive but the flashbacks and stuff she was having in her own room in solitude, all of that drama...that surely can't have been false. If it was, the writers did it simply to mislead or decided to change the storyline a few episodes later.

I'm hoping that Roops is genuine, which seems the case if we go by logic, but if the writers have changed their minds...then toh for sure, it doesn't matter how she acted before...I have a feeling that they're going to milk this Roops track for a while and things are only going to become clear when we get a solo scene of hers like you said or when Baaji's trust is decisively and openly deceived. They're probably going to play this thing into the FR and make it one of the factors to amplify the split between DuJi.

You've got a point.... I would also go with the argument that the writers are making it all vague on purpose to milk the confusion for all its worth.....maybe Roops is genuine, maybe she's not.....they laid a pretty solid foundation for her character having a change of heart....but then BAM out of nowhere they are showing that she was scheming with Kala all along.....I'm just very confused that if she is a double agent, which parts of her "act" were genuine and which not.....the flashback toh Kala couldn't have MADE her have.....so let's say that's genuine....but the rest....the drunk nautanki in front of Baaji, trying to kill herself, consoling AS, consoling Baaji, being nice to Naku and all......what's real and what's not.....I can't make a decision cuz of how vague it's been left and the fact that since Kala's return, they haven't shown her doing anything other than hanging out with her sisters and taking part in their schemes and bitching about Baaji......

A split b/w DuJi is deffo coming up cuz this is Dutta's sister involved in this.....and he dotes on her a LOT.....so whatever she's doing....say if she's playing Kala here.....Kala is smart enough to turn it back around on her and end up making her look like the mastermind behind the entire thing in Baaji's eyes.....toh DuJi split toh hoga hi, Baaji will also hate her like anything....

I just feel bad cuz I'd started to like their storyline....Roops changing and the way they were developing her story with Baaji.....especially liked the scene when she comes to console him in his room when he's crying....but now everything feels weird and I can't really view any scene of hers without suspecting her intentions and how much of an act she's putting up.....what makes it worse is that Baaji is such a great guy and they are playing with his mind and heart like this :S

Word! And the FR seems some time away, so this'll go on for a while to eventually figure into the explosion of things then...in the meantime, they've still got to show Baaji reciprocating some feelings (to make the heartbreak all the more resounding) and I guess that's what we'll be seeing in the upcoming few weeks.

The inevitability of DuJi's fall out makes me more apprehensive than Roops/Baaji. If things were bad for Baaji before with the secrets, now he himself is a target and a horrible phase is yet to start. Poor guy. And to think that he doesn't even have a single ill or cunning thought about anyone and anything himself, but time and people just aren't being kind to him.

Absolutely see your point though, why it's hard to watch the scenes and appreciate the pair when you're already dreading what's very likely to happen. I'm trying to look past that, enjoy the few light-hearted moments Baaji seems to have only when she's with him these days, and remaining optimistic that it'll play out in his favour rather than against. Let's see what happens!
