This way pratigya gets to be the perfect wife👏 and her decision to accept her husband's edict in this matter will prove beyond reasonable doubt that she as a mature spouse in a mature and stable relationship has respected HER HUSBAND'S WISHES 😆 Krishna of course will be very happy with his reward of 1 lipistick, 2 battings of her lashes, 3 playful smiles and 4 phased in hugs (divided prefunction and post function of course because he will not be at the function).
OR
Krishna who has no desire for respect from self or in laws will disown his family willingly and go the function with pratigya. could be as simple as that.
