I think that Manoj just likes to make a big deal out of trivial issues just to gain attention. Plus he likes to believe that he is being targetted by others all the time - be it Shweta or Samir or anyone else.

Though, I don't know whether unnecc. wallowing in self-pity lies in his nature or if he is saying these things only to gain audience sympathy.
