Suraaj aaj bhi aayaa.

roshni aaj bhi dharti pe barsi...

Panchi ne aaj bhi madhur raag cheda...

zindagi ne aaj bhi angdaai li....

magar mujh ko aise laga jaise ...
suraj ki roshni mein aanch hai tere pyaar ki...
roshni mien chamak hai tere alfaaz ki..

maina ke geet mein dhanak hai tere likhe zindagi ke saaz ki
zindagi rangeen si hai aaj kuch tere afsaanon ki baat si

My heart is trying to search for the words.........
which are apt for ur special day....

You are a friend one is always proud of...
look forward to
and one can be assured that you will be there in time of need...

As words must be our medium, a poem,

Perhaps, may best my birthday wishes send,

Poems being inner portraits out on loan.

Yet I would be a landscape in the mountains,

Bright sun battering an empty sky,

Immense rock faces answering all questions,

Resolving all in what instead of why.

Hedged with roses bristling in the wind,

Doing double duty for their mistress

As sentinels against the tricks of mind,
