The show started with all the Hindu statues and all which was a good vision, especially cuz the creator of the show is big believer in all the spiritual stuff. I am not Hindu but I liked it that the show started with a shubh vision.
Then Piya's introduction, nothing too classy. She's this normal sweet girl who loves her mother, is a orphan and is very much contented with her life. What's good and fresh was that she didn't whine about pass-me-down clothes, rather she had ways to make them look classy. Now that's a girl which is new! 👏
The college intro was cool. Different kinds of students all getting together, that's college for ya! And the character introduction, with their pics and names was so adorable! T is your usual college bombshell who "wants everything." I guess I expected that much from her. Kabir was good. Maybe they were trying to show him sexy but they over-did it. The whole thing was so un-needed! The guy is cute types, not sexy types.
Misha was so like Ashi from Remix. I have nothing against Ashi, infact I loved her! But seeing Priya doing the same role but in new clothes and with new name, isn't liked by me. Anyways! Back to Misha! So Misha is your typical in-your-face having attitude girl who does what she pleases. Fun, cool to hang out with, not scared of anything. I won't call her boring but typical. Nothing new.
Loved the slap bit! Misha slapping was inevitable but Piya slapping back was just WOW!! I'm liking this girl more and more...hope she doesn't become typical Abla Naari! What's typical Ekta was the slap echo. Three times!!! Lady I know its your signature echo but c'mon! At least cut it in a youth show!!!
Abhay looked so dark and...bad!! I know that the creatives wanted to make him look mysterious but they failed, MISERABLY!!! The whole first meeting was soo....meh! And the guy who was near the fire is the well typical predictor of Ekta shows who seem to know everything, but in riddles!
All in all, won't call it a bad start but a very typical one. Expected something new but meh...its all the same!
Maisooma.
