nope i dont think he was lying to save taani...however, on the other hand he did NOT WANT taani to be blamed for his mistake -> that is why he seemed so puzzled the minute he heard people gossiping about her... it was obvious he knew something about it... he was also instantly puzzled as to why taani was taking the blame on herself...
[it would have been different if he had known about it beforehand and then spoken up to protect her...]
but if he is doing this to protect her then i must say i am pretty baffled😕 cos even anu didnt really speak up in her defence (though obviously anu is not convinced taani took it)... so why would roby.... hmmm all this is confusing
but i am sure that though ritesh had the original hand in misplacing it... (to vindicate himself and his wife against tani) he did not take it from the drawer... remember when he went back to the drawer to search for it and couldnt find it...🤔
i guess roby must have found it lying casually in the drawer and must have had some (not entirely logical not entirely illogical) reason for taking it and hence must have stolen it...
however, after knowing that taani was being blamed for it... he is guilty/unhappy about the whole thingy...🤔
